The one thing forgotten was bride transportation to the venue! She drove me and the maid of honor! She will work as a second coordinator on your wedding day making sure everything goes as planned. How amazing is that?!?! She is so professional and communicative. Also so so quick! We had wedding sneak peaks the next day and full galleries within a week or 2!!!! 9 months later, she did our maternity session. I felt so uncomfortable being so pregnant but she made me look like a mermaid goddess!! She has done 2 family mini photo sessions with our daughter since then! We will use her for life and I have all the photos in our home! They make me smile every day!! The best thing about Ashleigh is honestly her personality. The moment you meet her, she makes you feel like you are best friends. I always feel awkward in front of the camera and nervous but set puts you at ease, gives easy instructions and best of all, makes it so much fun! You never feel forced or posed, yet she delivers the perfect shots that you hope for! She captures your love, naturally and it is amazing to see! For those that want to know why we chose them, continue reading. We first met Julie and Jonathan at a bridal show in August 2016. We had attended a few shows like this earlier in the year and hadn't really found a photographer for our June 2017 wedding that we connected with and loved their style of photography. That was until we met Julie and Jonathan. For my now husband and myself, it was so important for us to find someone we connected with and felt comfortable with taking photographs of us. Neither of us like to be in front of the camera. There is this ease about the two of them that makes you feel like you've known them forever. Julie is warm, friendly and I discovered on my wedding day, extremely comforting and calming. Jonathan's humor and sarcasm were right up our alley and made shooting so fun. Both our engagement photos and wedding photos were taken by Julie and Jonathan. We chose the Point Loma Lighthouse for our engagement photos. What we didn't think about was that we were shooting on Veteran's day weekend which made the Lighthouse a hotspot for tourists. You would NEVER know because they did an unbelievable job editing out all the surrounding people in our photos. It appears that we were the only ones there. I've posted a few. We received all of our professionally edited engagement photos within 2 weeks of shooting. The turnaround was perfect for us who were eager to see them. Julie and Jonathan absolutely captured our wedding day beautifully. I can't stop looking at our photos. Julie's attention to detail on the details of the day and Jonathan's expertise in wider angled shots gave us a variety of views. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE! Julie is very responsive and attentive to your needs and is overall just a wonderful human being. We are so, so very lucky to have stopped at their booth. I am very picky about photographs as I am a firm believer that they are memories caught frozen in time... My family has been due for a complete family picture (my husband and I are always in a rush with 3 kids that we never have had a chance to be in front of the camera-- let's face it: sometimes you feel rushed but that was NOT the case with Lora).
