Hospital is beautiful, very clean, but that's about the only positive thing I can think of. Came here for the first time for an appointment. I was on time, but I wasn't seen by the doctor for 45 mins after my appointment start time. I actually left the room after 45 mins waiting because I thought they forgot about me. No one seemed like they cared. As for my appointment, my doctor didn't have any input on my list of symptoms and just stared at me as if I was supposed to tell her what to do. This was the least productive visit with a doctor I've ever had. They ordered generic blood work but I didn't have time to wait in the huge line to get it done because they made me so far behind schedule. While I was in the waiting room there was another older woman waiting that had also been in the waiting room for over 40 minutes and her caregiver had to remind the medical assistant that they were still waiting. They had also done the in-person check in. It was clear she was forgotten about but I saw no apology or empathy for wasting her time. Little did I know the same would also be done to me. Awful. Laboratory walk in. I came in at 2:59pm into a full waiting area. And of 5 reception stations 4 were unoccupied for 25 minutes. Finally a technician from the phlebotomy station came in, saw the full room and grabbed another technician to start processing. It is now 40 minutes waiting for me and the line is still overflowing into the lobby. Very disappointed and disrespectful to the patients' time. Finally out at 4:26pm. My experience with a Nurse Practitioner here at the Riverside location was far from great. I felt completely dismissed and my concerns, feelings, and symptoms were not taken seriously. I had a high risk pregnancy. Back in 2022, I suffered from a pregnancy loss due to severe preeclampsia and HELLP Syndrome. This year, I found out I was pregnant in January. I began bleeding/cramping the end of January. I was seen almost weekly. I suffered a subcorhonic hemorrhage/hematoma. On March 19, I reached out to my doctor via Kaiser message asking to be taken off of work. My symptoms were progressing and it was starting to affect my daily routine including working. March 20, I received a call from the front desk letting me know she will ask my NP but most of the time women who are pregnant do not get time off of work. An hour later, I get a letter in my Kaiser portal for just the day off (March 20th) and I would return to work at full capacity on the 21st. March 25th in the early hours, I started experiencing pain. Later that day, I suffered a miscarriage. I had to have multiple blood and iron transfusions as I had lost a lot. NP Danielle Schneider & OBGYN Koskelo disregarded my diagnosis and concerns. I was not informed that suffering from a subcorhonic hemorrhage/hematoma results in a miscarriage. I did not learn this information until speaking with my high risk doctor and my new OBGYN after the fact. During the pregnancy, after asking for time off, NP Schneider suggested I seek women's mental help as I may be experiencing PTSD and anxiety from previous pregnancy loss. I in fact knew something was wrong and was totally ignored. I almost lost my life alongside my babies. Do better Kaiser. Be better Kaiser. read more

I was treated and diagnosed well, but there weren't enough rooms so my bed was out in the hallway. The reason is this facility is the only ER in Placer County. Kaiser definitely needs one if not two more in our area. Being the only Kaiser ER in my county, I feel bad because the staff are overworked and the ER is overcrowded. With the amount of money Kaiser makes, you'd think they would build more ERs in Placer county as the population is growing faster and faster. I showed up 30 minutes early because they said there might be pre-lab things. It turned out there were not. After checking in at the automated kiosk, my wait to see a receptionist was only five minutes, and maybe 10 minutes after that before I was seen by a tech to draw my blood. I really like this Kaiser facility. Usually I'm in and out really fast, whether it's tests, radiography, doctor's visit, blood draw or some other procedure. You can usually find parking not too far away and it's easy to find the right section of the building where I'm supposed to be. The nearest appointment is 7 days away, or go to the emergency room and wait for hours. Set a doctor's appointment and get seen by a physician assistant. Been with Kaiser for over 20 years, but it's time to switch. Kaiser, you could do a lot better! In regards to response: Same day or next day visit would be emergency room $50. Had a procedure and it went well 4 stars this is for the Pharmacy only.... I had a followup for some test in the pharmacy it was a sputum test. I made an appointment and arrived to be given a container that the pharmacy girl told me to go pee in the cup. I said NO because it was a sputum test. She also gave me advice on how to loose some belly fat I was concerned about as well. She suggested I do some aerobics, but was fine otherwise and I took home some of their helpful meal sheets. I would definitely recommend this location, the wait time wasn't long with my appointment time and I was in and out quickly to get back to work! I came here for my flu shot on Wed 10/16. The new building is now open for business as of Oct 1st. The signs that lead you to park put is in a FULL lot so they detoured us around to the front. Luckily we came early and there were plenty. However by the time we left at 1030, it was completely packed. The inside very beautiful and I like the openness. The information desk up front was able to direct me to room 160 where they have a flu clinic. She says, now is a good time because they are not busy now. I walk in and there are 4 nurses with one patient leaving in an open room. I stand there and wait until I get called up. Nope they proceed to continue with their personal conversation. I think maybe they will see me. They see me and still keep talking amongst themselves! The awkwardness was long enough that I felt uncomfortable and wondered if I was in the wrong room or what. Only after they finish their conversation, she finally says, "I suppose you want a shot?" Once I got up she was friendly and jovial but I found the initial interaction was highly unprofessional and disrespectful in any setting. I never understood why this is okay. I get when there is no one there that you shoot the breeze but once a customer walks in, you do you your job. I still remained to be the only person when I left so finish your conversation then. 0 star if I could. Went in for my appointment only to find out that the doctor cancelled my appointment without giving me a notice. The receptionist spoke to somebody and got me a doctor who happened to be the doctor I was suppose to see. Somehow this guy cancelled all his appointments to take over another doctor paper work. Looks to me that he rather do paper work than help people with medical issues. Dr. Aguirre spoke to me very rudely and dismissed all of my concern and just told me to take ibuprofen. Didn't even bother looking at the concern which I came in for. Nurse took my blood pressure and he was worried because I showed stage 2 hypertension. The doctor did not bring up until I asked him about it and he told me not to worry. This doctor makes all the doctors in this facility looks awful. If he does not care about his patient it's maybe a standard practice here. Have had follow up medical, lab, and blood pressure appointments at Kasier Riverside. From my experiences all staff have been professional, helpful, and supportive. Even when I have previously arrived at the incorrect department Kasier staff has been helpful and made sure I went to the correct department . All my care has been taken seriously and on point. I stopped by here for fun said no one .I had to get some blood work done.This Kaiser pharmacy/ blood work office is the best.Once you arrive there is always plenty of parking and the building inside and out stay super clean.They do offer masks if you need or want to use one as it's not required anymore. With all the construction parking is horrible, they dont communicate well via the email or even in office. The doctors act like your wasting there time and don't want to order the simplest required test. The only good part is the the speed of the pharmacy, radiology department and blood draws give this place the two stars. I would much more prefer the roseville location that has alot more stuff on the campus like an er and physical therapist and so much more and there staff isn't so rude, crabby, unhelpful like this location. Hopefully with the bee badging opening they get better people in there and offer more services and alot more parking and more entrances/exists. read more

Whatever you do, do not choose Kaiser for your insurance. Good luck getting any type of appointment to be seen. It's all full. When you ask for an appointment or call the advice help line, they make you feel like you are a bother. The lab is always full, and since they are a monopoly, you can't get your lab done anywhere else. The pharmacy lines are usually out the door, any time of the day. Don't let the shiny new building fool you. For the love of all that is good, choose a different insurance. You will save yourself so much headache. My family and I have just recently moved to Roseville. We came from the East Bay. My new doctor, Dr Jafri, is wonderful! She spent a long time with me, going over all of my medical concerns and history. She then ordered lab work and xrays, which I also did today. That's another review! This doctor, an internist, has a great bedside manner, and treated me with respect and dignity. She is very nice too. I was quite worried about finding a decent doctor here, as I have had a few bad ones at Kaiser. Dr Jafri has my vote. I have officially met the WORST DOCTOR EVER! My husband and I have had issues with this Dr. Eric Moll. He is unknowledable and never takes care of the issue at hand. Our recent visit was for my husband's ear he cannot hear and all he did was talk about high blood pressure for 20mins then looked into his ear said "oh it looks different from the other one" then gave us no answers to what it was and when we asked all we got is a bunch of ummm's and hmmm's. I moved to the area six years ago from Santa Clara where my experience with Kaiser was very good. The doctors, overall, were caring and empathetic. Prior to moving to Roseville, I made sure all my medical records were in order. Fast forward, six years, my doctors at Roseville Kaiser still have failed to update my records. My first interaction began with, "You don't need to talk, I have your file." Not even the courtesy of a salutation. The next visit started with, "I have twenty minutes, what do you want?" I replied, "I would like my $75 dollar co-pay back as you are clearly not interested." The doctor blocked the door and refused to let me leave. The worst experience was in the ER/ICU. I contracted C-diff from severe food poisoning. The nurse called me a "bitch" and alleged I was having diarrhea to annoy her. Add injury to insult, she inserted the IV incorrectly so I had no fluids for three days. When I started loosing consciousness, she wheeled me out to an empty room. Thank the good Lord for Nurse Brian, who took the time to check my vitals and fixed the IV. Unfortunately, the next nurse was worse than the first. The next four days J spent lying in my own feces. There were feces on the floor, everywhere. I requested the room be cleaned as the smell was making me nauseous. Declined without explanation. This type of behavior only happens when there is poor leadership. The director of Roseville Kaiser needs to be investigated. I have filed twenty-six grievances to date. I have received the same form letter. Shame on you. Shame on you! If you do not wish to care for those who are ill, find another profession. No excuses. No explanations. I have traveled in Europe and abroad, and the health care system here is unacceptable. I had better medical care in Mexico. read more

I came to this Kaiser location because apparently this is where my assigned physician is located even though I have been with Kaiser for almost 4 years now and have never met him. So I decided to pay him a visit. This Kaiser location is very convenient and that's what I like about it most. It's located right off the freeway so it's easy to get to, and the parking lot is plenty big so I had no problem finding a spot close to the front. The building itself is kind of old and dated, but that's OK because it's in good condition. There is a nice center courtyard with a bunch of trees and a nice grass area. It's good to see this in an otherwise white clinical environment. The buildings are clearly marked and in the middle of the day on a Friday I had no wait to see my doctor or get blood drawn so I was in and out of there in 20 minutes flat. I will be back. read more

I switched my pharmacy from Eureka in Roseville to this location, I'm switching back immediately, I don't care that it's a 15 minute further drive and no parking! I keep being told by the pharmacy that I cannot pick up my prescription before a certain date however when I call the pharmacy hotline or ask my doctor directly they both say there is nothing stating I cannot pick my prescription up before a certain date. This morning I go in to pick up my prescription and I'm told I can't get it until the 19th so now I have to go home call my doctor who tells me that shouldn't be the case but she'll call and make sure I can pick it up today. So I go in at 5:15 unbeknownst to me they changed their pharmacy hours to 8-5pm! I cannot believe it's ok to send people away and force them to come back several times in this environment! read more

Overall I have pretty good experiences with Kaiser, but it's fairly regular that I encounter employees who seemingly hate their job. It's gets old to be treated like I'm at the DMV when I go in for a blood test but that's the way it is.. condescending attitudes and all. I'm sure this isn't the first time Kaiser has heard this.. a little training could go a long way.. I don't expect much from Kaiser employees and it's for that reason the organization earns the 3 stars from me, the employees will have to earn any additional stars. haha read more
