: I am a member of Kaiser Permanente,and my Daughter recently contracted the covid 19 her test results came back Yesterday 6/23/2020 .I Reached out to my healthcare Provider With questions and Concerns ,also to see if me and my wife could be tested.My experience with Kasier Has been nothing short of awful. And mind you Kasier health care isn't cheap.When I told them My daughter tested positive you would have assume that the priority level would've gone up . But yet they never discussed of how to quarantine my daughter and for us to stay safe the timeframe it has took for them to respond to us to get a test . I haven't even gotten a call back ,but yet there are other smaller County testing sites like LabCorp that are scheduling appointments in less then a 24 hours giving the test throughout the community and another location such as high schools and other places .They don't have the same type of budgeting that Kaiser does but yet they are still out there willing to go and get the Community tested for free !!! What Type of health care am I Real paying for ?Shame on Kaiser for hiding behind the hospitals and their pro long delay of getting their members appointment s to be tested even when they know that their family member have tested positive for Covid I believe Kasier Mottois It's for everyone else to do the testing and work for them . We've been with Kaiser for 18 years and love it. No system is perfect, but I have a 46 y.o. husband with two heart attack under his belt, a teenage daughter with a medical condition since she was age two, and three other healthy children, so we've had a lot of experience with Kaiser and have had very few complaints. When my husband has changed jobs over the years, our first consideration before accepting a job offer is "do they offer Kaiser?". Highly recommend! If your doctor wants to order tests or treatments, it's a done deal...no waiting for approval from an insurance company, because it's all in-house. They are their own insurance company. Update number 3: they have never responded to any of our complaints. They have NEVER called back to check on the boy. They have never suggested ear tubes... from now on this place is known as DEADLANDS KAISER because they just let you die. Update again: Once again, took the child to Redlands Kaiser, once again they CANNOT UNDERSTAND WHAT AN EAR INFECTION IS!! Can you imagine??? The doctors are incredibly stupid. The pediatrician said there was absolutely nothing wrong with his ear. Spent all afternoon on the phone with them again on Thursday, still they insist nothing is wrong with my grandson. He has been crying and screaming and running a fever, I raised 4 kids, iKNOW the symptoms well. The child was in such bad pain we took him all the way to Fontana Kaiser urgent care in the middle of the night and guess what? ACUTE ear infection! He needs antibiotics! The pediatrician in Redlands had to have looked in this child's ears and then lied straight to my face! When I find out his whole name I will post it so you will know not to see this guy. He's definitely not a dr, not bright enough to even run a lemonade stand. Furthermore, we met another family from our neighborhood at the Fontana Kaiser. They stopped going to the one in Redlands and now drive clear to Fontana for all their medical needs because, again, THE PEDIATRICIAN AT REDLANDS KAISER IS A HORRIBLE "doctor" because either he has no idea what an ear infection is, or he lied to my face and then sent this crying boy home KNOWING he would be suffering great pain. We intend to write to the medical board as well. REDLANDS KAISER: your doctors aren't even fit to flip burgers, much less care for little children! read more

I would like to start off by saying, I love kaiser in Redlands. The building is always very nice and clean along with the staff (majority of the time). I've been going to this location for years now and every time I have to speak to my primary care physician (which isn't very often) I grow more and more upset with her. She is extremely dismissive and passionless. She never seems to care. When I was having very serious health concerns and had blood work done she never reached out to go over my abnormal results, after I had covid I had a TON of phlegm for 8 months after and she told me it was allergies even though that was my only symptom when I actually had covid. A friend who had the same symptom went to their doctor whom actually showed concern. She tried to argue that I was wrong but she'll give me an inhaler anyway, I had an infected toe once and she told me to soak it in warm water, I was extremely dizzy all of the time for about a month and she told me " everyone gets dizzy when they stand up fast"....... I was seeing stars......, this last time I wanted a referral for my TMJ and she had me video call her first and she just told me take Tylenol and then when I showed her how my lower jaw clicks and locks she told me I was doing it on purpose and to stop doing it and it won't hurt anymore!!!! I was in complete shock because this is something that has been really bothering me and for her to basically say I'm lying is the last straw for me. I will be switching doctors ASAP. read more

Waiting over 30 minutes to see doctor with a same day appointment that was made this morning at 7am. Asked one of the pediatric nurses how long the school air would be to see the doctor and she responded by rolling her eyes and saying only 15-20 minutes. No open communication between staff and patients. The wait ended up being well over and hour and a half. read more

After one year of using their services and facilities, I can say that they are the best Medicare HMO in the Inland Empire for me as a recently retired teacher. I tried another less expensive Medicare HMO before KP, but they failed to provide the quality of healthcare I needed and expected. My health declined until I could barely function. KP Redlands and Fontana have saved my life and restored my quality of life. Having to hunt for parking at KP Fontana is a small price to pay for the few times I need to go there. Most often I only have to go to KP Redlands which has been wonderful in every respect. Special thanks to my primary care physician at KP Redlands, Dr. Nairy Sarkis, who is exceptional. Cardiology, OB/GYN, ophthalmology, lab, imaging, and pharmacy have all been great. The surgeon and staff for my heart pacemaker implant in Fontana did a fabulous job. Their nurse hotline and same day appointment option for urgent care has worked well for me twice. It is so much better than having to wait hours at an urgent care clinic. Thank you KP! read more

I started recieving care at these offices for my prenatal care, and now frequent them for my little Robbie's well baby checkups and routine doctor visits. It definitely is a newer building, pleasing to the eye inside and out. I especially enjoy the elderly person that greets us the instant we walk through the door. It makes me happy to know that even a medical facility like this and not just walmart realize they can hire people regardless of their age. There is always something they can do. That's as far as my comparison to walmart goes. In all other aspects these offices are nothing like it. While in prenatal I was always satisfied with the care and information I recieved. The wait was sometimes over the half hour mark but I think it was because there was an abnormal amount of pregnant women in the area during that time lol. Now in the pediatrics side I hardly even have to wait, 10 minutes max there. The nurses and everyone are always very helpful. I havent been to the other local offices nearby but I'm sure they're no where near as great as this kaiser facility is :) read more

So ecstatic we have a Kaiser nearby and my employer offers it! I was with Kaiser my whole life under my parents' plan until I had to get a job and be under my own plan. I tested out Sharp which was okay and suffered through Blue Cross/Blue Shield but I cried tears of joy that I was able to go back to my original health care provider, Kaiser. Everything in the Redlands is exactly the same as the Bonita location I use to frequent. It was delightful to go to a bright, clean and sleek looking medical center. It appears as though they were keeping everything spic and span but some of the chairs in the 3rd floor waiting room could using a good scrubbing. There were what looked like drink stains on a handful of them, giving this new location a blemish. The doctor I was assigned to, Dr. Marquez, was patient as we went through my issues and medical history. I appreciated that I didn't get a waggling finger and nagging regarding my weight but rather what I could do to fix the issue. After our visit I only had to travel down two flights to drop off/pick up my prescription and do my blood work. Whole trip ran around an hour, late morning mid week, and I was able to get on with my day. read more

Located across from the Pharoahs adventure park. This place is well kept and I love it. Some low end clinics are always so dirty and dingy. However, this place makes you feel welcome and proud to be getting your service from them. Although this is not the main medical office that I go to. Its a great alternative. Another great asset that they have here is contacts. Its great if you don't want to drive all the way out to Fontana to pick up some contacts. Staff are friendly and helpful for the most part. Definitely a place I would recommend, however at the end of the day its ultimately up to you :) good luck ! read more

Dr Stutz was not helpful in improving my foot injury. I was referred to him through my pcp (Dr Rasin who is very helpful). I tore the medial aspect of my plantar fascia 60% in a competitive match in Costa Mesa Jan 27 2016. I could not get a podiatry apt anytime soon so I paid an outside podiatrist who gave me an injection and a boot so I could work (it was too painful to walk) I finally got referral and apt to podiatry 3 weeks later. Dr Stutz recommended no weight bearing for the quickest healing time. I could not tolerate a cast but used the cam walker for protection and ordered a scooter so I could still work. I was sent to Kaiser physical therapy but it caused so much more pain than I had before and he told me to do the opposite of stretching that Dr Stutz ordered. When I notified him of my persistent pain and the lack of help with physical therapy he just said to just do the PT recommended treatment because he had "been wrong before". He had no other advice and offered no other solutions. I believe Dr Stutz is not a provider that is interested in seeing his patients get back to competitive play, he is more likely at this point riding out his career at Kaiser doing as little as possible. Sad. I have since sought out private PT and have been pleased with the decrease in pain and all the measures they have used to increase my function decrease the pain and plan to be back on the courts this week. I do not recommend Dr. Stutz. He gets 1 star because he was nice, but unfortunately not at all helpful I just saw Dr. Myers, podiatry,for a follow up visit. He was very helpful and answered all my questions. He also made sensible recommendations to help get me back to competitive play. My faith is renewed! read more

Today is a bad day for kaiser. The wait is unacceptable. I have been waiting in this pharmacy twice today. They reported the wait was three hours. My prescription was called in early so that I could start taking it. There was a poor elderly man who was just shaking just to hold on to his walker, and there was a staff member in front of us complaining on the phone about having to work until ten. They may need to work on patient centered care and a service driven attitude when things don't go well. read more

KAISER REDLANDS DOES NOT RESPECT THE LAW OF DOCTOR PATIENT CONFIDENTIALITY.. Kaiser employees share confidential medical history among themselves & the nurses who read your emails, have no problem using your personal life issues as a topic piece.. Ive made countless reports over the years to membership services and nothing has ever happened to them.. My only conclusion, Kaiser thinks they are untouchable when it comes to Doctor-patient confidentiality, and so we the patients walk through those halls with no privacy at all.. After having "ok" experiences at the wildomar office numerous times.. My sons pediatrician lacked bed side compassion.. I found an employee that made me feel as though she truly cared.. She did nothing special just had compassion.. I traveled from murrieta to Redlands for an optical appt and was running late called in and she said don't worry about it, come in anyway. I ended up being 1 hour late do to traffic and EDITH greeted me and was genuinely understanding,although I was late. Kudos to you Edith! Wish all kaiser employees were this compassionate. read more

I really liked my Doctor here and it's close to my home, but whoever hires in the area where they take your blood could use a little help. The staff in this section all were just unpleasant. The older lady with short hair that checked people in was rude to a couple people in front of me. I think it was just her personality. How sad. Then in the blood area the workers all had the same attitudes no matter who they were helping. I was lucky I had an intern, at least she was nice and smiled! Oh and the older asian woman in the pharmacy actually read my medication name out loud and told me how to take it, lol, no privacy? read more

I called yesterday for a same day appointment for a pediatrician and was able to obtain it despite it being cold/flu season. Upon arriving, I was told Dr Acosta was running behind and there would be quite a long wait. Vitals were taken and was given another update about the length of the wait and was asked to sit in the waiting area with my child until a room became available. After being placed in a room, we waited another 25-30 minutes. When Dr entered the room she apologized for the wait. She was VERY thorough with her examination, answered all of our questions and even ran a 10 minute Strep test (while we waited) to rule out Strep throat. Later that evening, I received a follow-up call from the Dr herself! The wait was well worth the quality care and peace of mind. Thank you Dr Acosta and all of the staff (including the helpful appointment representative) for providing such great services! read more

Kaiser ranks highly in national comparisons, but that is saying only it is less worse than most. After an out of area accident, I was told I needed to see an orthopedist. A local doc would see me next week, but that's not a Kaiser doc. I'm 400 miles from the closest Kaiser medical offices. I messaged my primary care physician hoping to get a referral, because my experience is that it usually takes a week to get called back to make the appointment, and many more weeks to wait before the first available appointment date. I got messaged back that Kaiser x-rays are required by my primary care physician before she'll make a referral. The x-rays from Sutter Coast ER Crescent City are crystal clear and easily sent electronically. I wouldn't mind additional x-rays if requested after an exam by a Kaiser orthopedist but I can't get to that specialist without my primary care doc's permission. Dunno if my doctor even knows about my message, as it is nurses answering anytime I use the message system. I'm traveling two more weeks and I simply wanted to get on an orthopedist's calendar asap. This puts me at least two weeks behind in being able to get needed follow-up treatment, and it seems the only purpose is to run up the co-pay cash flow. read more

Nice medical center in Redlands. I love how easy accessible everything is, especially the pharmacy which is right by the entrance. The establishment is clean and modern, and the staff is very helpful and friendly. I really like the pharmacy system, where I can call in and pick up whatever I need. It's really nice to have this medical office in Redlands whereas main Kaisers are in Riverside/Fontana. read more

Wow. I used to love kaiser. The convenience, the friendly people, their app, their mail order pharmacy, seriously everything. I just has the most horrible experience at the Redlands pharmacy that all of that *almost* goes out the window. I refilled a prescription online at their convenient website and was told it would be ready for pickup Wednesday morning, I even did a screen shot of the confirmation page. I made a special trip to pickup my prescription and because they have a new slow computer system, which is a few months old now might I add, they have confusing notes posted everywhere.. If you're here for this reason then go here, if you're here for this or this reason go here and if you're here for both those reasons go in the first line, so irritating. Good thing someone that just got out of line told everyone that was waiting for pickup, needs to go in this line. He sounded frustrated too! So anyways, I wait 45 mins in a line, only to get to the front and my prescription isn't ready. The lady is rude to me, says because I used the mail order pharmacy last time, they were sending it out that way. She didn't even care to see my confirmation page, she didn't want to hear what I had to say, she kept cutting me off and finally said they could switch it, but it would be an hour wait. I work in customer service so I know how things go, but at least be nice if you can't help me. I spent my whole morning here and got nothing accomplished. And now I have to return later to stand in line and pick up my prescription. again. Not excited for that! read more

After being a member of kaiser for years I will begin the search for a new insurance provider immediately. For years I have been taking 10mg ambien. The FDA recently recommended that dosages for most women be lowered to 5mg but reiterated that each patient should be evaluated individually. My doctor agreed that because my chronic insomnia I should stick with the 10mg. An administrative committee won't allow it and overruled my doctors orders. So...if your ok with administrative staff deciding whats best for you over that of your own doctor than Kaiser is the place for you. read more
