News began with a midday newscast at 11:30 a.m., 5 p.m., an hour-long newscast at 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. Award winning journalists anchoring include Lindsay Liepman, Niyah Gonzalez, and Todd Unger. 25 News KRHD's office is in Bryan and houses a team of reporters who will tell the stories of the community and spread awareness about meaningful topics. Why is first news at 4 called such ? Its about 4 minutes of news and the rest is interviewing…read morepeople. Put those interviews on the three program. The weather portion is terrible. First you have one that is so stout she blocks half the screen and is constantly waving her hands around like shes a ballerina. And the drama is ridiculous...if its 73 degrees then say so instead of 70....3. That is so stupid. Now they have a new guy who cant stand still, he walks back and forth and we cant see the map. Its distracting and not necessary. Kbtx is the only news channel I get on antenna so I have to put up with it. Rusty gives me a good laugh...instead of saying seal the deal what he says is sill the dill. Meals is miles. It go on lol Wish I had a different choice for the news.​

This has got to be the worst station in the country. Not only is the station off of the air a lot…read more(it's actually off of the air during prime time again as I write this and has been off of the air for 20 minutes already), but even when you get the feed, there are numerous sound and video problems. This can range from sound being out of sync with the video by several seconds, to a frozen frame that remains for at least a half hour, causing the viewer to miss everything in between. This occurs very frequently, and causes more frustration than any station ever has, in any town I have ever been in. Regardless if you're an over-the-air broadcast recipient or viewing the station via cable, the problems are the same. I am giving them 1 star simply because you cannot submit a review with no stars.

Not to be confused with Houston Pubic Media…read more PBS is a great service, although it has to be said that every station should be like PBS and should be providing the public with a service, rather than just trying to make profit and sell commercial spots. Nevertheless thank goodness they exist, and long may they continue. We love some of their wildlife shows a little too much, even though they can be harrowing AF. In a supposed free country like America, PBS should be everything... instead of an afterthought.
