It may be true that everyone carries similar carpet but their selection, communication, and steps to ensure a quality installation are unmatched. They were able to help us select the right carpet and then did an onsite visit to measure and discuss seam placement. Once the carpet was received they did an onsite inspection, made the cuts for the seams and then sent an entire crew of very professional (and friendly) installers to complete the work. The previous company failed to inspect the carpet for manufacturing flaws and then took 2 weeks to install the carpet. Once installed we were not happy with the installation. We had to make multiple complaints to get the project manager engaged, then more time getting the carpet manufacturer engaged. In the end it all had to be pulled out. I am so thankful that we opted to switch to Carpet Mart and will use them for all of our flooring needs in the future. When comparing estimates on carpet you need to look past just the price of carpet and padding but ask a lot of questions about installation. These include seam placement, do they inspect / cut the carpet prior to home delivery, and how many full time installers do they employ.
