Very Good: Fantastic selection!…read moreBIG old "creaky wooden floor" HW store like the classic Fingerle in Ann Arbor and so many across this rusty old state. The PREVIOUS owerners were GEMS amid the community, not to mention the beautiful old dog that greeted us animal people. The EMPLOYEE there is a great and helpful fellow! MOST unfortunate: The NEW owner. I LIVE in Watervliet but drive to Hartford to avoid this fellow. I'm sorry about whatever happend that he seems such an unhappy soul, but I DO hold hope he gets SOME return on investment so a more traditional, community-oriented handyperson may soon fufill this role again.

I found exactly what I was looking for (something for pet hair). I told the guy who pointed me to where the sweepers were that I would take that one. He took the one of the shelf. When I said "oh, it doesn't come in a box" and he said, "we always put one together so you don't have to when you get home". How cool is that. I didn't have to deal with reading instructions, recycling the cardboard box, etc. I rolled my new sweeper out the door, drove home, and the vacuum (a Hoover) worked like a charm. I've also had the same experience there with my dehumidifier and a refrigerator. Easy shopping, stress free (no pushy sales people), and supporting small business!
