The smell of spices drifting out of this restaurant caused us to go inside. We were taken to the plastic tent directly outside the restaurant as they were full. The rain started bucketing down and our feet soaked so asked to move inside to the recently vacated table.
We chose a serving of Butter Naan ($6), Steamed Basmati Rice ($2.50), Lamb Korrma ($26.50) and Chicken Tikka Masala ($24.50).
The Rogan Josh was a rich garam masala curry with onions and tomatoes and the heat content 2 chillies out of three.
The Chicken Tikka Masala consisted of stir fried onions and capsicum in an almond, fenugreek, tomato cherry sauce which was just as warm.
The mains were served in small bowls but was sufficient, and equally delicious, and we're glad we listened to the restaurant manager assisting us with the menu. read more
