They cut too close and it irritated my dogs skin. She didn't offer any solutions and kept blaming on his itching. How did he itch like that in a short amount of time. Didn't even want to refund us either... bad customer service and doesn't even want to help us out. Now we have to spent even more money going to the vet to make sure he's okay and no infection in the open area.. read more

They need a receptionist or someone that can pick up a phone. Called multiple occasions for an appt with no luck. Had to stop finally to make one. The day of appt finally comes and i had an emergency with my mom (I'm a full time caretaker for her) and was going to end up being 15 minutes late. Tried calling several times to let them know, of course no answer at all. So I come by anyway hoping they'll accommodate it still being that nobody is answering. But no, the owner i believe? denied my dogs grooming regardless of the situation. Especially when I've been sincere and tried multiple times to extend my business to them. to be denied unapologetically and the way it was handled was offputting. Reply to owner: no it's the right business. Edinger and bolsa chica. This happened about a year ago, you probably wouldn't remember. And i did leave voicemails in the beginning when attempting to make an appt, but got no reply there either so i had togo in person to make the appt. Why would I make all of this up... ‍ lol can't even take accountability. I'm leaving a review of my experience with your business. Cant handle a honest review of your business? I don't care if I'm in your files or not, that's what happened i don't know what you're trying to get at here. Keep talking about I'm not in your files so this experience never happened? Do you label potential customers as liars because you didnt get a good review? First thing you do when you don't get a review you want is to discredit me that i got the wrong business and that this never happened because you "checked all voicemails". You don't even pick up the phone. I've been living here most of my life , do you want me to go behind the chevron , on the opposite end of K&M donuts , and take a picture of your business to show you i did not goto the wrong place? read more

Was referred to this place. Brutal experience. The place felt energetically off, not a happy or positive feeling. But okay... the recommendation was positive so let's give it a shot. Brought in our 2 dogs... multi-poodles. The lady asked if we wanted the teddy bear cut, which we said yes. We also asked to keep the hair on the tail as it can be nice and fluffy. Our first dog was basically shaved, and butchered, and they shaved his tail. Pics attached. Our 2nd dog, who doesn't bite and is super sweet, picked up on the energy and growled... wouldn't allowed to be cut. Smart dog. I'm focusing on the fact the hair will grow back, but damn... what a horrible job. As you can guess, I will never go back. read more

Noel has been grooming our dog for many years. She always does a great job grooming our Maltese who can be fussy. Noel is so kind to all the animals. If she notices anything of concern about our dog she will let us know. She is very knowledgeable about animals. Her love for animals is very evident when you see her interact with them. I find it easy to get an appointment and she always lets you know as soon as your pet is ready. I highly recommend Noel and her team! read more

Five Stars All the Way! I can't say enough great things about K9 Klipper! The entire staff is absolutely amazing--especially Noel, who goes above and beyond every single time. Everyone is extremely friendly, welcoming, and genuinely cares about the dogs they work with. They've always been incredibly accommodating with last‑minute reservations, which I truly appreciate. You never feel rushed or overlooked--everything is done thoroughly and with so much care. They're also very observative and knowledgeable, and if you ask for suggestions, they're more than happy to share helpful insights tailored to your dog. My dog is naturally a bit cautious around new people, so I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly she warmed up to the team. That alone speaks volumes about how patient, calm, and trustworthy they are. If you're looking for a place that treats your dog like family, this is it. Support small businesses like K9 Klipper--they absolutely deserve it. Highly recommend! read more

Our two dogs, Henry and June, a Great Dane and a Boston Terrier respectively, absolutely love their grooming experience. Henry's tail starts wagging the moment he knows where he is headed. Plus, they come home fresh and clean and smelling great. read more

Phoebe is our whole world and we are really picky about who takes care of her and who we leave her with and we couldn't be happier that we found Noelle and K-9 Clipper. Noelle takes such good care of her. Phoebe is always bathed well, groomed well, and Noelle is so patient with me when I always ask questions or need additional services. Phoebe gets excited when I tell her she gets to see her friends Noelle and Kimmy and that has never happened at any other groomer. Noelle is gentle and patient and loving with Phoebe and I couldn't imagine taking her anywhere else. I feel completely comfortable dropping her off and am always so happy to pick Phoebe up and see how beautiful she looks and how happy she is. 100% recommend her and K-9 Clipper. read more

Mixed emotions about my review. Once my dogs are actually there, this place is fantastic. They do a great job, affordable, and friendly. I left a low rating because making the appointment is a little bit of a pain. They almost never answer their phone (because they are bathing the pups), so I normally end up going to somewhere else that I don't like just for ease of booking. This place could easily be 5 solid stars if the appt making was easier: either a designated call taker, the owner wearing Bluetooth so she can answer calls while grooming, or an online booking option read more

Noel is the best! I've been bringing my dogs to her for the last two years. Very reasonable and super friendly, she's great with all the pets, clearly an animal lover and she loves her job, it shows every time we bring in the pups. I highly recommend her. Jimmy HB read more

PLEASE READ !!! I took my 1-year-old dog to this grooming salon for the first time two days ago, and I am extremely disappointed. Before the appointment, I informed the staff that it was his first grooming experience and even advised them to use a muzzle for safety. Despite this, when I picked him up, they told me he was a "bad dog" and should be medicated. That is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. I also paid for the full service, including dental cleaning, yet his teeth looked exactly the same when I got him back. To make matters worse, I found him hiding in the corner with pee on his paws--something that has never happened before. Since that visit, he has been completely traumatized--hiding, crying, and extremely jumpy. A grooming salon should be a safe and comfortable environment for pets, but this experience was the exact opposite. If they can't handle animals with patience and care, they have no business grooming them. I would never bring my pet here again and wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who truly loves their pet. read more

We came to K-9 Klipper for our 13 year old terrier. We are currently displaced as we lived in Altadena and the Eaton Fire destroyed our home and town. Noel took our Kennedy right in. We picked her up about an hour later and she looked so fresh and healthy. Excellent grooming. Noel is so very sweet. Clearly an animal lover, but she also has a big heart for people. She gifted us the grooming as she is sensitive to our current situation. Strangers treating others as family has been one of the most overwhelming experiences during our loss. Thank you Noel. read more

I arrived 5 minutes early for my appointment and she barely looked at me and said she wasn't ready and told me to wait outside. Literally chased me out of her shop. No good morning, no smile, no hello how are you? Her whole attitude was that she was doing me a favor by grooming my dogs. She just lost herself a good client with three dogs because she couldn't be civil. I don't care how good you think you are, if you don't provide good customer service and at least pretend you care about your clients then you will lose them. read more

We've been taking our Yorkie Macy to see Noel for about 8 years now and would never go anywhere else. She's friendly, loves our dog and always does a great job. We lost our home in the Eaton fire 2 weeks ago and needed our dog groomed but were away from our regular town groomer - and it's not accessible right now . Noel took us in immediately and embraced us with open arms . She has almost 2 decades of experience and it shows that she loves animals . Don't hesitate to use her services . Even for nail clippings and walk in . You won't regret it . What a time to feel the human spirit . Thank you from the bottom of our broken hearts read more

While we love the care and attention our pup gets and how they look, the management is not understanding at all. I arrived 9 minutes late to an appointment. I understand the policy is 10 minutes. I got stuck in a work call because it was the middle of the day and things come up but made sure I was there within the 10 minutes. I arrived and she refused to honor my appointment which was just really disappointing. She had already started another client before my actual late time was up. Her reasoning was I didn't call to tell her I would be late so she took someone else but I couldn't call because I was on the phone for work. Will not be returning to someone who doesn't even honor their own policies. read more

RAVING FAN!!! Best grooming job ever received! My goldendoodle, Charlie, honestly looked like he could have entered a dog contest when I picked him up!! His hair was extremely soft and fluffy. His legs and paws were perfectly trimmed .. My other Goldendoodle (Layla) had to get shaved.. she was a bit of a mess when I brought her in, but they did a fantastic job leaving as much hair as possible and making her face adorable!! Noel is a sharp, very talented and caring person to all animals. She isn't a stereotypical groomer that some compares to trailer trash. She works extremely fast, and grooming quality is fantastic. She is human, if you are late and she has to make a financial decision and time management decision whether to start on the next dog or not. If you are late picking up your dog, of course She will be upset as could have an appointment to attend. Sure, that is a price of doing business with uncaring customers, but it's her choice to also weed out bad customers. I've known Noel since 2007 and she has always been a fantastic groomer. She is never abusive to dogs or cats and always sweet to anyone whom does the same to her. Her place is clean, never hair buildnup on cages that hasn't been cleaned for months or years. She is fantastic business person and groomer. If your dog is uncooperative and bites, then she won't risk her health or business to continue. Don't blame the groomer, it's your pet. It is what it is. I really highly recommend you use her service and don't let some who are complaining about nothing. If your dog has fleas? It has fleas. If you wash them and tons of dark water comes off, that is flea blood. Period! read more

We love going to K-9. Klipper, our poodle, looks so beautiful after Noel's fabulous grooming. I also like going there because the groomers are so sweet and knowledgeable. I get a little behind on my dog's haircut, and Buddy looks like a white cotton ball when I first walk in for my appointment. When I return, he has a beautiful coat of hair and nails clipped, ready for our adventures. Noel is the best groomer I've ever had, and I've had three dogs in my lifetime. I have been dealing with Noel/K9 Clippers for about 8 yrs. I just wanted to write this review for her just to show that we appreciate everything that she does for our fur-babies. She always goes out of her way to make sure everyone is taken care of to the best she possibly can. She always does a fantastic job with the young, and especially the older with care and love. Noel, we love you and you are so appreciated in so many ways. I know that you welcome and treat all our precious babies with love and care and you always make us feel like part of your family. Sara says hello and she loves you too. She has actually taken care of several dogs of ours and my parents dogs too when they were alive. That is how I learned about her and we have been going to her since. We will always need your services... Thanks Noel for all that you do for the community too. read more

Noel and her team are the best!! Always have a great experience and my pups are always squeaky clean! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Noel has been my dog groomer since 2015 when I rescued a wild & mischievous 7 lb Brussels Griffon terrier mix. To say she was a mini wild beast the first time Noel groomed her, is an understatement. Luckily, Noel was patient with Maggie; she was able to get rid of her mats without harm, giving her the most suitable cut that brought out the beauty I spotted in her as a mangy, filthy, stinky pup (that only a mother could love) at the shelter. Over the years Noel gave Maggie different styles, always amazing. When I rescued Alfie in 2017, Noel performed her miracle work on him as well, gently removing mats and turning him into a presentable gentleman. Alfie is an anxious pup; after some calming treats before we head to our appt. And some TLC from Noel, he always comes out looking fresh. Noel and her colleague, Kim, work their tail off to provide great service. She is successful due to her management of her business; no gimmicks, no AI, just good old fashion quality service, affordable pricing and hospitality with a genuine passion & love for animals. Noel has built up a loyal following over the years and does most of her business by word of mouth; no need to advertise or target you with social media ads. To those who choose to leave silly, negative reviews due to their entitlement, consider this: start your own business and implement your suggestions. Then, after you've accommodated every Negative Nancy, come back and let us know how quickly you had to close your business and still pay off high debt. read more

We love Noel! My large goldendoodle has very curly and coarse hair and she always looks FANTASTIC when she comes back from her spa day. Her hair is soft and fluffy, and she smells great. I love that I get a call as soon as my dog is ready so that she doesn't spend too much time confined to a crate. Good price, great groom and service, plus Pips loves Noel. read more

What a difference! I cannot thank Noel enough for what she did for my dog, Monty. The care, the compassion and the beautiful hair cut for him is just amazing. The best place to bring your dog. Noelle is amazing with animals and took such great care of my dog Sunny. He came out looking so perfect. Sunny is a nervous dog but didn't have any issues being there with her. His hair cut makes him look like a teddy bear which is exactly what I wanted. She clipped his nails, took care of his glands and did a oil treatment for his sensitive skin. I don't see myself taking Sunny anywhere else. read more

Noel is the best! She genuinely loves our pups. She does a great grooming while babying our babies.

my puppy was there for 3 hours with several other dogs getting groomed/ When we picked him up we were told he was flea infested and the groomer showed us pictures on her phone of blood running down his face. There were no fleas in our house. There were no fleas on the puppy when we took him in for his first grooming at K-9 we got the referral from YELP. We went to our Vet that afternoon and told them of our dilemma.. The Veterinary assistant said fleas are usually engorged, and probably came from the other dogs within the facility .We cannot use the medicine that the Vet sells so we got a prescription for Comfortis and had it filled through Chewy a week later, but by then, there were several baby fleas on our puppy and he was scratching a lot.. ..NEVER AGAIN.. the conditioner they used was nice, and his his fur was pretty so i gave them 2 stars. Not for the accusation. She was ' in my face" about his supposed infestation" $75.00 read more

My bf and I found this groomer through yelp so we decided to give them a try. We have a Maltese/Yorkie and we stopped taking him to the groomers bc we had a bad experience the last time we took him to one. Noel was super welcoming and friendly. She took really good care of Chewy and I felt I could trust that she knew what she was doing :) Chewy got a full grooming service which included a cut, nail trim and bath. I like that Chewy's nails didn't feel sharp bc other places have cut his nails but it would feel rough. I will be taking Chewy here for his grooming needs and def recommend K-9 Klipper. read more

This is by far the best dog grooming salon I've come across. I've lived in OC for a while now and I've probably tried 5 different salons at this point. The minute I walked in I felt a comforting vibe. The owner was really friendly, but more importantly, my cocker spaniel was so calm and happy. This never happens with her as she's wound super tight. It must have been a combination of the friendly owner, the charming decor, and the professional staff. I loved the way they cut my doggies hair...very clean and detail oriented. Finally my search for a good groomer is over. Thank you!! read more
