Major Issues: Poor communication and errors in tax preparation. We went to Katrina for our 2022 taxes, which went fine, we also went to her for a couple amendments. She informed us it would only be a couple weeks to complete the amendments, it wasn't until several months later that the amendments were completed. During those months I followed up with Katrina numerous times and most of the time did not receive a response. I had to email, call and text several times to get a response each time I reached out. It was also difficult getting her to answer all the questions that were asked of her. After all that time, we finally submitted the amendments, and it turns out the State taxes were calculated incorrectly, and we had overpaid which caused additional headaches and stress. I haven't heard back from Federal yet, but I'll update this review if I do. I would not recommend this tax preparation business to anyone. read more

Beware!!! Do not hire K2 Services, Inc., or Katrina to do your taxes. I contacted Katrina via Facebook; I wish I had done more research before hiring her. Here is what happened - Our paperwork was delivered to Katrina's office on 03/09/2022. On 03/09, I requested information as to when my taxes were going to be filed; I reminded them that taxes where due on 03/15. On 03/09, I received a text saying that Katrina was going to try her hardest, that I would know more after the weekend. On 03/14, I sent a text to follow-up, in which they responded, "Unfortunately we will have to file an extension for you as our tax software is doing an unscheduled maintenance." I followed up on 03/30 (no reply), 04/12 followed up again in which they responded, "An extension was filed since taxes were due on 03/15 (which I already know, because I told them since the beginning). I continued to follow up 04/15, 05/06 no reply until 05/10 when they said that my taxes were in process, but Katrina was out of the office in recovery due to a surgery. Once again, they confirmed that an extension was filed. On 05/18, I texted them demanding information about my taxes (I have never filed my taxes this late in the year). 06/12, I send them an email (no reply), 07/01 (no reply), and 07/12 (still no reply). It was not until 07/26 when they requested copies of my daughter and I's driver license. On 07/27, I was finally given an appointment to come to their office to sign Tax returns and to pay their invoice of $1,390. To make the story short, in August/September 2022 my daughter received penalties and interest from the IRS totaling $600 and I on the other hand received penalties and interest totaling $1,907(between Federal & State). The IRS sent me stamped copies showing that they received the request for extension on 04/26/202,2 which confirms my suspicion that they never send our request of extension on time. I contacted Katrina via email, she didn't have a clean answer as to why this happened and said that they filed on time. I have not received any additional communication from them as of today. My daughter and I had to pay for penalties in full. read more

All American has been my family's tax preparer for many years. After a few bouts with (same day) phone tag, we could easily get a appointment. Now, it seems the personal life of the owner is in the way or the business has grown so much that they dont have the time to assist their long-time clients. I had my taxes prepared 3 weeks ago. After that appointment, I have called several times & left messages each time. I have not received one phone call back. My question is very specific & may be answered with a simple "no", but could also be difficult. Either way, I haven't received the courtesy of a call back to find out. I know this is the crunch time to get taxes done & preparers are busy and I am JUST ONE client out of hundreds, but a 1-5 minute return call would be greatly appreciated. read more

Katrina has been doing my taxes for the last two years. I had always done my own but after a issue with turbo tax triggering a audit I decided to have a pro do them. You can't do better than All American ... She is wonderful, kind and so easy to work with . She is quick to reposed and always answer calls with a hour ... That's only if she is with client. This is bar none the WORST experience I've had with a business in my entire life! Let me give you some history on this place: the previous owner, who has done my taxes for the past 6 years, died in 2011 and his office girl bought the business. When I went for my tax appointment I was a little early and this lady ((Kat) did take me early which was the only good part of my experience with her. She invited me into her office and didn't even introduce herself or make me feel welcome. She just started asking me questions and seemed annoyed at my presence. At this point I haven't been given the opportunity to tell her anything about myself or fill her in on what had changed with my taxes ( I bought a house). Long story short, she was rude to me and tried to rush through my appointment like she couldn't get me out of there fast enough. She also did nothing special tax wise to see if I was even eligible for any tax breaks. Here's the kicker: SHE'S NOT EVEN LICENSED TO DO TAXES! I had a funny feeling when I left so I found a website to verify your tax professional on and SHE IS NOT EVEN REGISTERED TO DO ANYONE'S TAXES. I did further research and found out that the fact that she's scharging people to do their taxes is VERY illegal! BEWARE: you will NOT get good customer service and she isn't licensed to do taxes!!!! Beware.... Do not get any service thru this business.... What once was an amazing place has now gone down the drain... Previous owner DALE - was awesome.... so knowledgeable and helpful. He sadly passed in 2011 and "KAT" bought his business... since I had been going to Dale for my yearly tax filings since as far back as I can remember, I assumed she knew what she was doing... NO WAY!!! The entire time she was filing my taxes she told me about her life, used foal language and I was honestly concerned she would make a mistake with the numbers.... She is not professional AT ALL... and her assistant, SHEILA is a total witch... they never return your calls... it's really a sad and horrible business.. Bottom line the owner was very friendly and efficient. A great bookkeeper who offers many other services such as payroll, quickbooks training and taxes. Payroll gets done fast and it is customized to your needs. The new owner, Kat, is very knowledgable in what she does. So happy I have this company to handle all of my business needs. read more

I haven't filed my taxes the last few years. This past week i dropped off all my paperwork to her. She ensured me that she would take care of it and have it completed in 5 business days. She call me after day 3 and they were all done! She sat down with me and explained each year and answered all of my dumb questions. I felt very confident and satisfied in her services. She was very professional and courteous. I went there years ago when Dale owned and the office was completely remodeled and very clean. I would recommend her to anyone and will be definitely going back this tax season. read more
