Be aware of cleanliness!!
Its quite big place with lots of…read moresunbeds - stand up and lie down. Staff are polite and nice. . .BUT its VERY DIRTY.
I have been going there for 2 years, always just hoping it will change to better.
It really needs good session of re-decorating and cleaning. Lie down sunbeds are with stains on glass. The notes on walls politely ask costumers to wipe bed after use, BUT.. not everyone cooperates and the staff don't inspect sun-bed before next costumer.
I once ,told about it to lady, serving me then, that the room where I just used sun-bed, was quite dirty, with dust everywhere, stainy mirror, and cream splashed all-round floor and walls and mirror, as well as - dirty sun-bed - with marks and body prints on. She apologised, we smiled and I thought: Ok,maybe this needed doing, they'll think about it..
Now, after couple of months not being there (I have found another place, in town centre,where its twice cheaper and clean) I went to Tettenhall Sun centre again.
I paid 6£ for 9min - without any cream, asked for stand up bed, then went to the room, wondering how is it going to look like this time and...I have never seen any sun-bed room like it before this: please see attached pictures - on the top of surfaces, there was good layer of thick dust, in corners of the floor and in most of other areas around, it was sticky layer of dirt, marks around the button (power on for sun - bed).
Inside the machine, all around floor, in edges, it was full of dirt and dust. I had goggles taken too from the staff lady, but I didn't feel like wanting using them any more. After sun-bedding which I had to do by stepping up on wooden box, inside the bed.
After I got dressed by balancing on my clothes, because of seeing stains on the floor. Before I left, I returned goggles to lady and she just dropped them back in bowl with others,where she took them out from. That means,they don't get cleaned regularly.
For ex. other salons just drop goggles in hot water, then hang them to dry or wipe, so you have clean goggles. I left and said to myself I HOPE OTHER LADIES PAY ATTENTION TO THIS TOO, its hygiene, this is scary. I wish this place to change..its just not right to work in beauty industry and charge for this kind of experience!! And only imagine the germs around.....
