Great experience…read more Honestly, I don't understand why there are bad reviews. Seriously, this is a super safe driving experience, it's not a real race against other cars. I received a groupon as a gift for this. The signup and check-in was hassle free. During the orientation they make suggestions for add-ons if you didn't purchase - insurance, extra laps, ride along, etc. I did add it all, and a video. I took one star away for two reasons - first, the ride along did give you an idea of the track layout before you got in the car, but the guy drove super fast (yikes!) and was not stuck to the same rules as standard folks, and secondly they forgot to do the gopro deal for me. I know nothing about nascar but do like driving fast when I can. The added laps were defininitely worthwhile, it took a few laps to get an understanding of the track so the add-on laps truly were the most fun. Everything was super safe - there were essentially two cars on the track at a time. I did not have to move to pass or be passed and the drivealong car whizzed by a few times on my right which was pretty cool too... There are other add-ons for insurance, (probably not needed, but then again...) photos, faster cars, etc. but I think the standard deal with more laps is the way to go.

I was looking for lighter options and could not find any -- not all the balls had the weights labeled clearly so unsure if they didn't have any/were already taken/I overlooked them. The lightest ones I found were 10 lbs. We stayed and played some of their arcade games too which ranged from pinball to skeeball to foosball and more! Some machines take bills and some only take change but there is an ATM and change machine on site. There were also plenty of people there just to enjoy food/drinks or play pool. The holes were not overly challenging and it was a beautiful day out, so after a great lunch a fun round it was worth the $7 dollars per adult admission price. Since school was just let out for summer break there were groups of kids with their parents, but we were not rushed and the kids were having a good time. The decor is pretty cool and the wholes have a sea bearing feel and really family friendly from what we could see. Come check this place out.

My favorite part was the giant slide. The beach was nice and had lots of lounge chairs. The water was dyed blue which was interesting, but I think it helps with algae growth. We did the thrill hill one time. It is a hike to get up the hill and you have to drag the tube. It was a lot of fun, but a lot of work on a hot day. It would be nice if there were an additional bathroom that had stalls for changing clothes.

Unfortunately, this location doesn't seem to invest much back into its own business for essential maintenance. From shoes with holes in the toes, to damaged balls, and even messy bathrooms, I felt like everything I touched was original to when it first opened (and not in a nostalgic way). Also, while it's not a big deal, I was disappointed my friend was forced to throw away the remainder of his sub while helping someone carry their belongings in. While I understand the policy (no carry-in food or beverage), volunteers provided free food for the event. It's not like we were impacting sales or carrying in a bag of McDonald's or a box of pizza. In any regard, the place serves its purpose but feels run down. I'd go if family invited me, but not if I had a choice between here and somewhere more modern.
