It can be very difficult finding a gasoline convenience store that will accomodate our ride. Fortunately, this Stripes store worked well for us. While our friend filled up the gas tank, the rest of us checked out what the store had to offer. Restrooms were pretty clean as was the store itself. Lots of selection of drinks, snacks. and other goodies. Overall, I'd recommend dropping by this Stripes store if you are in the area.

I'd been trying to get another large chain pharmacy to take my insurance, because they are in the network. They told me I was not eligible for Tri care as the secondary. Today I spent 2 hours on the phone with my Humana rep. We went through everything. Tri care said I was eligible, of course. My Humana lady called the pharmacy with me on the line. She was going to tell them how to submit to Express Script (tricare) but the chain pharmacy would not talk to her. She wanted me to come down to the store. So I did. The line was long. An employee told me I was last in line before lunch. Ok. He said they would take me. When I got the the pharmacy person, he said there was no one to help me as everyone was at lunch. It was 1:40. I asked what the lunch hours were and he said there were signs all over the store! Rude. So I will go to CVS. We had to change pharmacies from Sams because they are no longer taking our insurance. I had to go into the store to get a receipt for a gas purchase. (I didn't notice the price of gas until I pumped a few gallons into my car.) I got enough gas to get me south to the city of Artesia. There were three people working the counter and two were arguing about getting change for the guy in front of me. The store is messy and dirty. More so than most Allsups stores. I didn't even want to get a bottled soda from this place. I walked in and walked out. Don't bother stopping or spending money here unless you are out of options.
