If St. Joseph Boots has 17,000 pairs, I would say The Fort has about half. I've not visited St. Joseph boots, by the way. I smelled the leather when entering The Fort, and my nose immediately found the boots. Goodness, how can I choose just one? They have hundreds. Not just cowboy boots, but there's a pair with peace signs on them. While I was there, they had an ankle boot sale. I tried on a few pairs and left with a pair of Durangos...this was the first time in the store. The second time, I wanted to see if those ankle boots were still on sale. It pleased me cause they were...oh and the sandals with silver beads were on sale. I'm not normally much of a shoe person, either. They have boot services too, stretching and other services.
