I never got to see their work. The lead guy there, W. Murray, behaved in the rudest and most arrogant manner ever. He can afford to be rude I guess as he has a lot of business, but at some point in time this will come back at him. He was annoyed because (get this) I didn't pick up the phone when he called! Became very hostile and then advised me that "because you didn't answer the phone I didn't drive to your property." Twice he mentioned the fact I didn't pick up the phone. He told me he could drive there 12 days from now and that it "wasn't his fault" that I didn't pick up the phone (third time). Completely unprofessional. He then advised that it would take 3 - 4 weeks from that date, knowing full well that I needed the job to be done two to three weeks from now, and that today was the day he had told me the 50% deposit would be due. It is worth noting that my job was only 40' of railing for my deck, but later I wanted the entire back lot to be railed. I politely declined the new date, and he hung up on me! Someone needs to get out of bed the right side, sip his gripe water and learn to be more professional to customers. It doesn't matter how busy you are, or whether or not you own the company, rudeness and arrogance are never acceptable. Unfortunately (or fortunately if I had to deal with this individual), I will never know what K&S railings look like as I have given my business to another firm, but I am sure they are lovely. read more
