I had gotten another quote before calling DB painting to get a feel for the market price in this area. I had read all the wonderful reviews and was a bit worried what this bid was going to look like. I am shocked to tell you it was 1/3 less than the other guy, and I didn't have to buy the paint in addition. Miguel and the guys did a top notch job, start to finish.

Moving to a New Area is Difficult in itself but finding reputable and dependable companies to do work is a Whole Other Story ! ‍ I cannot say enough Great Things about CertaPro Painters ! We received their Competitive Bid and drove to their Office to schedule our Appointment and make our 'Good Faith' Deposit ! We had the Pleasure of Meeting Tania, the office Secretary, and Mary, the Owner of the CertaPro Reno Office ! I met Ken at our house and he introduced me to the 'Crew'. Jose, was the foreman on our job and Each one of them worked diligently to complete it in a Timely Manner. He removed all of the light fixtures, downspouts and even the doorknobs of the doors he painted. There was paint everywhere it should be, and none where it shouldn't be when he was done. He's an unassuming guy who's genuinely nice and does his job with regard for your personal property, which doesn't always happen with construction projects, leaving our house as he found it (but with new paint!). He suggested some trim paint ideas and I was grateful he found a compromise between what my wife wanted and what I thought. We were all happy as a result. You might pay a little more for his services than the paint "crews" around, but you get customer service back ten-fold. Worth it to us. Definitely five-star.

We then schedule him and his team to come paint the house and they did an amazing job! I was very impressed at how well they covered the floors and furniture to ensure they didn't have any spills. They worked 8:30-5 for three days in a row and had the whole interior done and the home clean and ready to enjoy! They have great attention to detail and i couldn't be happier! I appreciate getting an estimate right on time. I value the fact that they answer their phone and…read moreemails and that they call when on the way to the home. I was just asking for trim boards around the roof of a one story home to be painted. Very little scraping to be done but they are dirty as we get lots of dirt in this location. I specifically asked him is his estimate included washing the boards before painting them. He hesitated and then told me "we can do that". It sounded like he was not going to clean before painting. That is one way the paint will peel in no time. I have no way to know if he was going to do it but his answer led me to believe he had to add more in the estimate. We did not use this company as the estimate was higher than I paid in the past for trim on a home that was this size and one story. Last year I had all the trim boards painted plus a wood fence area off front porch (about 4 ft) on a two story home for less than this company was going to charge. It was a professional company I found on Yelp. So I did not feel like the price was right for the amount of work on this home. I was in property management for 30 years so I have an idea of what need to be done and have kept up with prices. **Yes, I am giving you a review based on your estimate which is fair. I was being nice giving a 3 star but after your comment I am glad I did not use your company. If a 3 star review is not something you can handle, don't reply, it does not look good.

Dear Brittany T. "Business Owner" I appreciate your reply -…read moreor maybe it's better categorized as a justification for your lack of customer service and condescending, combative attitude. You make my point for me and display your arrogance towards your potential customers. Let's clear something up. YOU hung up on me when I requested to speak to the owner and 30 seconds later cancelled my appointment. You also claim to be the business owner but in fact you are not. (screenshot of NV SOS site included.) As a potential customer to any business, I will ask and answer questions. Without customers, You Have No Company to work for! Your tone with me was condescending and argumentative both times. At NO TIME was I EVER disrespectful to you. If you don't confirm information with your potential customer via text, and email, you should expect to receive a call from that potential customer inquiring why. I just wanted to know what makes Battle Born Painting so special that you have to use "Consultants" that need the homeowner to escort them. 5 other companies had no issues letting themselves through the gate. All gave very competitive and comprehensive bids - Except Battle Born Painting, because the receptionist is chasing away the customers. You cost your employer Battle Born Painting an 8 thousand dollar contract!! (Actually more since we're gong to also contract the inside in the spring.) Future potential customers need to know why. Kelly Brothers thanks you! I thank you! (Especially after reading some of your yelp reviews. It is obvious this company lacks integrity and certainly honesty. Two 1 star ratings 2 day in a row! Is that a record?) Good luck turning away other potential customers with your cheerful attitude and condescending tone. I suggest you take an online customer service course. By the way, the reason I chose Yelp to give Battle Born Painting an honest review is that you can not delete it. I now take the one STAR away because of you so Battle Born Painting now gets ZERO stars. Your mission, should you accept it, is to Make Battle Born Painting Great Again! As I stated previously, Battle Born Painting came highly recommended. I wouldn't recommend Battle Born Painting to paint a dog house after dealing with you. Lastly, You were crystal clear that the Owner, Mr. William M. Reyes (Not You) is actively involved in operating the company, overseeing employees, customers, and projects, and is not reasonably expected to be immediately available every time a prospective client sends a message. I simply asked to speak with the owner after you were rude to me - You hung up instead. I had no expectation for an immediate call. The fact that it's now September 3 and he can't be bothered shows how important his company's reputation is. No Need to call me now, Mr. Reyes. You now know why your losing potential customers to your competitors. BUYER BEWARE:

Walls, baseboards, trim, door and ceiling all the same color but in different sheens. We were not looking for craftsmanship we just didn't have the man hours to get the job done. What we got: fantastic work for the price. All doors, trim, baseboards and ceiling were sprayed. Company/ Alberto: easy to work with, knowledgable, English and Spanish speaking. Great hardworking guy. Considerations: because this house will be renovated overspray on flooring, cabinets, and fixtures were a non issue. However, we did not experience any over spray or damaged fixtures as other previously reported in older reviews. We checked on the house one evening as saw everything was tarped off great. So I think it may have been an older issue with the company that has been resolved.
