I think no one should rent from this place. My mom is 84 years old and got an apt. from this place and after she lived in a few mo.s the bugs started to come out and I have never seen so many bed bugs..!! They ate my mom and sister up, so much they had to go to the hospital. And this place would do nothing about it. This place is not a good place..!! The office woman was nasty and very unkind and when we moved mom to a better place they said they used mom dep. to get rid of the bugs that was already there. Mom never had them before.. read more

We were pleased with this management company at 1st. We live at Abbey Rd Apartments at end of Moull just off of 21st but after learning we had a HOARDER beside us we called when we heard smoke alarms going off, they sent a coworker to investigate and asked we go in with the representative. What we saw and smelled was beyond the TV show hoarders. We've called and complained repeatedly, and they had taken no further action. All they did was sent a letter...and we also see that they don't follow rules in their own lease. It states no pets...but u c cats and an occasional dog in the window when you take trash out. Its sad that they lose good tenants just to not have to worry bout their reputation. Very discriminative...its pick and choose here. We decided to move for our own personal safety and the well being of our belongings. It is a health and fire hazard. As of 11/1 we've moved. Please don't be deceived by the looks of these places...they are nice on the outside but who they let in is very undesirable. We have lived in K & G Management's Strawberry Fields apartments for several years now and I want to Warn people to NEVER rent from this Company!! The office manager, Kathy Mcanally, is Rude and Disrespectful to tenants and shows absolutely NO concern for any of the people who are Technically keeping her in business! One tenant works as well as the other to her and she has absolutely no concern for her tenants happiness OR Well Being! When the heater went out in my unit, in the middle of -11 degree temps, she did not even bother to call me back and address the issue. Out of concern for my 2 young children I hounded the office till I Finally got a hold of Kathy and she informed me that she "was Not Required to give tenants call backs" and if we didn't like how she did things" all we had to do was give notice and leave!" And, I repeat, this was after several years of being good tenants. Kathy is Rude when you call or come into the office, she interrupts in mid-sentence, ignores tenants concerns, she takes Forever to administer repairs in units(we have been living without a bathroom light for over 2 months), she talks down to tenants and makes them feel unimportant and insignificant, she possess an over all attitude of being Above Everyone and lacks Any concern for the welfare of the people keeping her in business! The apartment units are Terrible, at first you think they're nice because K&G slaps a quick coat of fresh paint on the walls and throws some new carpet on the floors to make them Look nice. However, shortly after you move in you begin to notice All Kinds Of Problems, for instance, THREE of the electrical outlets in our unit did not work and WERE NEVER REPAIRED, the upstairs bathtub leaked and after only a few months we began to see mold in the ceiling of the downstairs bathroom, the utility closet had a HUGE crack in one corner and we could Feel cold air coming Through from outside. My Biggest Complaint, however,are the ANTS EVERYWHERE, they live in the Walls, they live in the Counters, we had them Everywhere(even Upstairs!!) and the only thing K&G does is spray Outside the unit!!! I have done EVERYTHING I could think of to get rid of them and I CAN"T!! My husband and I have been trying to earn our degrees and we did not want to move while we were in school, however, the Deplorable conditions of the unit and Kathy's reprehensible attitude have forced us to relocate!
