This is one of those wonderful locals in Südsteiermark where they are not allowed to sell anything but their own productions or local products. The quality is therefore really good and for a surprisingly cheap price!
Here you won't get any beer nor coffee but delicious Wein, Spritzer, Trauben- oder Apfelsaft...
As for the food: it is a-ma-zing! You won't get any warm meals but you'll have the choice between a whole bunch of the so cold "Jause"!
You can get some bread with several "Aufstriche" (spreads or other food to get on the bread!), salads (Bohnensalat, Tomatensalat with cheese, etc...) or some woodplate for X persons full with charcuterie, cheese and some tomatoes, pepperonis and paprika. The portions are HUGE, enormous even, but it tastes so good and you can ask for more of these or that so it's hard to stop eating lol!
The establishment is owned and run by a couple and their grown up daughter, all very friendly and attentive to their customers!
A great place to stop and get some energy before going walking in the beautiful wine region surrounding!
