So we were prepared for the worst, but were out for a good time and some decent food, and not friendly service. So we were not disappointed, as the food was okay, fresh with no frills. More than enough, but plain. The service, the infamous owner himself, was there, but without a smile or any sign of graciousness. More like we were a necessary pain, one that he recognized, but wished hadn't pestered him. All in all, our evening went well, but only because we were prepared.
So, one star for service. At least he didn't scold us.
A half star for ambience. Disco radio? In a fish joint? No... And the decor...
Two stars for the meal. Fresh fish, but the (missing) choice of wine sucks. The bratskartoffel, a German speciality, were not.
