Dunelm Mill contains everything you might need for your home, From sheets and duvet covers to pots…read morepans and cutlery. They have a great range of items to suit everyone's budget. I've seen some extremely luxurious, beautiful bed spreads for well over £100, I've also seen some very pretty basics, such as duvet covers and sheets for as little as £5. They also have an end of line, or sale section where you can find some wonderful bargains. On previous visits I've managed to bag myself 3 good sized throws, and I had change from £2 - and that's for all three! Dunelm also have a lovely little coffee shop that serves tea/coffee and cakes as well as light bits such as sandwiches and soups. Also, during the festive season, it's well worth a look as the Christmas decorations are superb

fab store for all your home furnishing needs,…read more bedding, curtains, table clothes ets all at different price ranges. my fav bit is the roll ends of fabric reduced bin! i've had some excellent one off buys from that bin. fabrics for making my own cushions, throws etc, as sometimes the fabric can be up to 5metres long! and the prices can start from £1.00. the black out curtain lining roll end bits are always handy! stitch to match your curtain/window size for instant light blocking and insulating! as you can get ready made black out curtain backing for around £10.00/£30.00 plus, or you can buy the off cuts from next to nothing and with a little effort, you can save yourself some money! i'd love to make my own curtains but not got the skill yet! always good at xmas to get them little add on decorations that for some reason i can stop adding on!

Range has been open for a couple of years now in York and is situated just next door to Monks Cross…read moreretail park so it's really handy. They've taken over the space where the old Asda used to be so there is ample parking. Range literally does sell a huge range of things! I am particularly impressed with the range (ha ha) of crafty bits and bobs - my daughter (3) is really into painting, (well, splatting) and gluing/sticking, and Range has everything you need for that, including aprons! (a must) They also have a DIY section, not too familiar with that, (other halfs department), a kitchen and home wares section as well as soft furnishings and lots of storage solutions. There really is no method to the store, it simply seems to have everything so I'm not going to go on to tell you about the extensive pet department.. it's fab, from budgies to goldfish, guinea pigs to dogs - Range has everything for our furry friends! Now over to the Garden department, again, lots of bits and bobs for the green fingered amongst you to get your teeth into. Toys, ahh yes, toys.. and lots of them.. be prepared for the 'I wants' Then finally towards the tills where there is for sale various food stuffs.. This review has left me exhausted, as does range, as it really is HUGE.. leave yourself plenty of time to browse! I must also recommend you have a look round during the festive season as they pull out all the stops with trees and lights

When we go here we always end up spending money…read more As their name suggests, they have quite a range of stuff here. From jam jars to tents; artists paint brushes and canvas to power drills, via bedroom furniture, cleaning and garden supplies and plants you'll find lots of things you need, and many more you don't (but buy anyway!). Some of their departments tend towards the poor quality end of the spectrum, but garden supplies and kitchenware are well worth a visit. One thing to avoid though the café. Expensive and not too impressive, why not grab a snack from the food available by the tills on the way out.
