I recently had my homeschooled student tested here. Their version of the Woodcock Johnson test is…read morevery different from the ones we've had before. First, there is no General Academic Knowledge section of the test given (for students over 3rd grade). Second, there is a "fluency" score which is a measure of how fast they perform certain portions of the test. It was very distracting to my student that the tester was turning on and off an timer. Overall, I do not think this was a positive testing experience and my student's scores are not an accurate reflection of what he knows.

One of the biggest decisions a high school upperclass student makes is "what next?" The College…read moreTransitions team completely changed my graduate's educational trajectory, simply by using effective tools, unabridged college data, step-by-step application and essay coaching and simply being a voice (besides mom or dad) about choice and comparison. As a result, my student selected a school he had previously eliminated and graduated summa cum laude, even during the pandemic. He is now happily pursuing graduate studies (internationally). He is excited, fulfilled and clear-eyed about his profession. The College Transitions team taught my student to be reflective about what matters most about his educational environment, helped him weigh all factors (including economics), prioritize what matters most in his day to day experience, consider a wide range of scholarship opportunities and confidently establish a path perfect for his plans. He THRIVED. And I know this would not have been his choice without their expert guidance and patient counseling. Forever grateful!

After 50 hours for each kid, only 5 pages of their books have been completed. My son is preparing for Math 1 for 7th grade and he performed beyond the assigned C2 book so was bored and had to bring in his own school work, which the tutor was ineffective with because he only talks about his dog. I complained and the center manager told me it was "on brand" for that tutor. My daughter tried to be more collaborative, but at the expense of her own learning. Again, passing the level of the books.

There was only the tutor there when I dropped my daughter off I ask where the other students were and was told they had not showed up yet. I picked my daughter up at seven where I was ask to pay $52 for the one hour session and the fist hour was free but also a sign up fee of $95 then I found out that no other students were there actually there was no other kids there. The tutor they found they told me that she had no ideal what she was doing and that other tutor toke her place for the session when I talked to my daughter she told me none of the tutors know anything about the glass she was needing help with. So I emailed them to tell them she would not be returning for any more sessions. So I'm out $147.00. I was not offered a $95 refund on the sign up fee.
