I could not help personally, but I was able to find them the BEST real estate agent. It is a tough market in the Charlotte area and Tiffany was responsive to them at the last minute, knowledgeable and supportive of them as they searched for their first home. She took the time to educate them on the first time homeowner process and did not push them to go beyond their means to find a home that did not fit. Christy Oakley with Prime Properties, that handles the apartment complex stated she 'did not know about the infestation' but every single neighbor I spoke to (about 12-14) stated they have them. It is even in the lease you sign that 'tenant's responsibility to exterminate roaches, pests, etc.' but told code enforcement 'oh but not if its an infestation, its just to make tenants keep a clean apartment' - tenants were scared to complain because they knew they were suppose to bomb their own apts. One lady even said she wouldn't complain because it was in the lease and Christy told her to 'bomb it yourself'. Had to have code enforcement come out to property due to infestation it was so bad. Christy was also very condescending and horrible to work with - lied straight to my face, code enforcement, fire chief, and other neighbors that complained while code enforcement was on property. Very expensive for it to be such a dump. She looks to par, but don't let looks fool you. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! Worst place I've EVER lived at! Wouldn't even give it one star. AT ALL.

They lied and claimed Judge Scott Lippert ordered them to throw everything away -- a statement that was absolutely false. My criminal charge was dismissed, yet they still carried out an unlawful removal and disposal of all my property. Their actions violated North Carolina's prohibition on self‑help eviction, the requirement for a sheriff‑supervised writ of possession, and the laws protecting tenants' personal property. What they did constitutes conversion, unlawful eviction, and unfair and deceptive trade practices. After being instructed by a superior at the police department to contact them, David -- the same person who pursued the charges with Officer Gross despite knowing I had a legal contract to be there -- now hangs up on me and has blocked me. This behavior shows clear avoidance and refusal to take responsibility for the damage they caused.I am pursuing them in court for full compensation and accountability for the total loss of everything I owned.
