Their instructors take a personal approach to all their students, ensuring everyone's performance is watched by either a Black Belt instructor, or higher ranking belt. Had my kids (7 & 3) bday party there; not only did the kids LOVE it, but the parents enjoyed having some time to themselves, since the instructors engaged the guests the ENTIRE time!!!

Through the years he has learned responsibility, leadership & physical skills that has helped him in every other area of his life. He excels at every sport he tries, and I firmly believe the sills taught at EMA are directly responsible for this. He is an excellent student & has chosen nice friends, many from EMA actually. Andrew is now 15 & just earned his 2nd degree. He has spent time on other extracurricular activities but always comes back to EMA. I am very pleased with the school and highly recommend to anyone. Girls & boys both excel there.

He was completely ready for kindergarten and is excelling thanks to the great teachers there. Miss Maggie, Miss Laura, and Miss Pru are terrific with kids. Very patient and kind. My other three little ones love it too! I have nothing but good things to say about all of the staff, the programs, and did I mention how CLEAN this place is?! It is spotless! The kids get so much time to run around, learn gymnastics, and get all of their energy out while learning at the same time. I will certainly be sending all three of them back in the fall for the next two years. It is an EXCELLENT preschool program. Keep up the good work!

This has been the absolute worst experience ever. You should NEVER put your kids in this place. My…read moreson came home with very suspicion marks on his arm of fingerprints from what appeared to be someone aggressively grabbing his arm. The next morning I showed them and asked for answers as to what happened - they told me 1 teacher was scheduled to be off and the other called out that morning so they didn't have answers. The state was called for investigation and despite the case still being open, they called me and said we had to leave. The director, Alyssa Barlotta and VP Lauren Standfast are absolutely horrible and unprofessional people to work with. This all happened in purple cats classroom. Do NOT send your kids here. If you ever put your kids safety as your priority and question/complain they will kick you out. Believe me, we don't want to pay people all this money to be constantly stressed out over our Children's safety and well-being only to be treated this way by people who clearly don't care about children. At the end of the day this is a business for them and they will do whatever it takes to make it seem like they are not at fault and protect their employees. I find it interesting that another review with 1 star also had a similar experience and was asked to leave because she complained! I also had a daughter in the infant class and there was 1 teacher in particular who was not equipped to handle infants properly and when I expressed my concern, that teacher was so rude and nasty with both me and my husband. Anytime we came to drop off or pick up our daughter she would roll her eyes, ignore us, or give us attitude. It's sickening that these people are in the business of "taking care of children. " No one should ever send their kids here. Horrible horrible place. Here are photos of my sons arm.

Overall, my wife and I were very happy with this facility and if it were still practical to send our son there, we would. As with any new parents, we were very nervous about picking a daycare as everyone has a horror story. Two things stand out about LB of Freehold which ultimately eased our concerns: 1) The owners care. From day one Vita and Nicole were incredibly welcoming and professional. Not a day went by where we were not met with a friendly greeting. If there was a concern, they were always receptive and willing to set aside time to listen and take action when necessary. 2) The facility was modern (opened around 2015) and very clean. Every night each classroom along with all the toys were cleaned and disinfected. Did our son get sick? Yes, of course he did, it's daycare, but it was not excessive and was not a result of the facility being dirty (I'll hold the commentary on parents dropping off kids that are already sick). The teachers my son had (Infants / mobile infants /1.5-2.5 years) were great. All cared and all were in control of their classrooms and there was no turnover during my son's tenure (Ms Meryl in the infant room was incredibly caring and really helped our sons transition to DC). The owners made good hires. Some turnover was noted at the teacher aide level, but that is to be expected. Finally, and most importantly our son enjoyed being there. He never protested going in the morning and was always happy when we picked him up. Being around other kids on a daily basis has helped him develop socially. This is evident when I see him around other toddlers who have not spent time with their peers. If you have reasonable expectations, this is a great daycare and I would recommend to anyone looking in the Freehold area.

Not only does the school have a great curriculum that teaches him valuable lessons, they make sure he gets a good amount of time to just be a kid and play! The teachers and staff all know my name and my husband's name (other daycares just called us "Mom" and "Dad" at drop off/pick up), and they are very alert of everyone who walks through the door - makes us feel safe knowing they pay close attention. The teachers have also been so helpful during tough times when we had to give our son medication/treatments for what seemed like forever. They never made it seem like it was an inconvenience when it probably took up a lot of their time. We also always enjoy going to the school's special events - petting zoos, Easter egg hunt, photos with Santa. They offer so much and I truly feel like they are a big part of our family's community. Tuition is worth every penny, in my opinion!
