This is a nice place to shop. The cheese store was awesome. You have the opportunity to sample cheeses galore. I thought I died, and went to heaven. Definitely, I had to buy some to take home with me. They had a cafeteria selling some nice pastry connected to the store. Great!
Food on the Diner side had a good selection of menu items. However we opted to the buffet again. We have dined there before, and the buffet was pretty tasty. That day they served French onion soup. Not a fan anyway.
They offered few different kinds of breads, boiled potatoes, rice, boiled carrots, kebab meat and chicken in a cream sauce.
Drink options were: milk, buttermilk, water and home brewed non-alcoholic ale (kalja). On top of the meal you could have fruit cocktail, coffee or hot tea. Not bad for the money. It was around 12.50 Euros. That is an average price for a lunch buffet.
Attached to this little Mall Juustoportti=Cheesegate) was also a Pentik store, and a Finlayson (textiles). I love Finnish design but didn't need any.
Service was friendly. I highly encourage you to stop if you are in the vicinity of Mantsala. read more
