In my 20 years of renting privately and in complexes like Madison Court, I have never had a better experience. From management to maintenance to neighbors. I lived here for 4 years. Madison Court is a smaller complex compared to others. So it has a great sense of community. My unit was a 1 bedroom apt. Open floor plan. The bathroom was quite larger than I was expecting. Plenty of closet space. Not too much counter space in the kitchen, but I never found it to be troublesome. I read reviews that mentioned thin walls. I personally never experienced that problem. Aside from the normal apt noise. If your neighbor is arguing loudly, yeah you can hear. Are they having friends over and music is loud, sure you can hear that. But I'm an understanding guy. If you're not, you might complain of "thin walls". But I didn't once in four years. There are plenty of households with children. This was never a problem. Never too loud. Never mischievous. My final compliment goes to Lorraine and the other office/maintenance personnel. Incredibly friendly. Like, incredibly. Above and beyond. Understanding and caring team. They listen to your issues so they can work to resolve them. They don't blow you off or pretend that such an issue could never happen. Usually instant respond times. Problems were always fixed, not rigged to just break later. With the pricing, area, layout, and most of all the management team I HIGHLY recommend Madison Court Apts to every one looking for a great comfortable place to call home.

Be aware of maintenance- Ted who is in charge is great, but the men who work day to day are off putting. I have been dealing with getting a new dryer since April- we had a maintenance worker come into our home multiple times without letting us know he was ever there. We would ask for a note just to let us know someone was there as we have pets, but he never did. It was unsettling never knowing if someone was in my home or not. I repeatedly emailed Megan, the property manager. We spoke on the phone one day after I literally hit my breaking point (I told her my situation was an emergency) and ran out of clothes because my dryer was broken. She said she was going to address the issue with the maintenance worker, he would no longer be allowed in my apartment and she would provide a 250$ credit for my troubles. The next day he was back in my apartment with no supervision and no notice. My apartment door was open when I arrived home, and he was inside. When I said to the maintenance man that I thought Ted was supposed to be with him, he said he was never told that. It has been over three weeks and my credit never appeared either. When you go to the office, it is locked. No one is there. They don't answer the phone nor return your emails. If you are someone who wants communication, Taylor Woods' management is not the people you want to deal with, so this would not be the place for you. After calling corporate (thank you Christine!) I was given my credit. It was only then that Megan called me to inform me that the credit was applied. She was extremely defensive and agitated. She twisted my words as well; unfortunately, after all of this, I can safely say, she is quite unprofessional.

There are a LOT of hidden charges in this complex - package service, valet trash, VERY high sewer charges. They charged us an amenity fee and then only returned a tiny fraction of it due to Covid 19. They have parking stickers for their significantly less than ample parking and if you don't return them when you move out they charge you $50 per sticker. We had a 2 bedroom apartment and were issued 2 stickers. My color was far on the other side of the building where there is not an entrance. Not great in the rain or when you have heavy groceries. They have the most disgusting dumpster area and we know this because we had to use it several times because their valet trash picks up earlier than it used to due to Covid 19. If you work outside of the home, it is very easy to miss it. Also heaven forbid if you have something bigger than the tiny trash can to throw away - they don't take it. Why pay a fee for trash service that you can't use, but you can't opt out of it. Our apartment was cleaned, the nail holes were patched and I was still charged about 1/3 of my security deposit. I've always gotten 100% returned but I'm not surprised considering how fee happy this complex is. While we were thrilled when we moved in, by the time we moved out - their management style got on our very easy going nerves. You can't get them on the phone, they don't return calls. They provide no check list or instructions when you give them notice that you are moving out. This is an expensive "luxury" complex but you aren't treated that way.

Eventually, I was forced by the management to relocate to another building for my peace, tranquility, and sanity by paying more for my monthly lease with less space, also a disgusting runoff with all kinds of garbage floating in the black and smelly water. If it weren't for my children's school, I would have moved from this property because these people do not care about the residents, and all they care about is the money and that they get it on time! Good day to you! I am reporting that the sliding doors "Bi-Pass Door Sliding Closet Door Track Kit " for the bathroom are not working as they should because the doors were not installed. The sliding doors are inoperable, which my family and I have to lift (causing severe pain after) the door to close it to a point to shower and prevent the floor from flooding during the shower. I am the highest charged lessee here on this complex, and I am requesting the necessary repair of the issue. Also, the front door allows the heat to escape from the apartment, thus causing my electric bills to increase exponentially. When you are in the shower, the floor inside there keeps squeaking as if it is going to fall apart, and I won't be surprised if the building collapses one of these days because of the shoddy work they have done it. The buildings here are made from the cheapest materials by the most incompetent, unqualified, and dishonest builder and their workers.
