I would strongly caution any individual, law firm, or company considering hiring this process server. Her behavior at our home was shockingly unprofessional, unnecessarily confrontational, and completely unacceptable for someone whose job requires professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.
My girlfriend was being served regarding a misunderstanding with a company that she was already actively working to resolve. Rather than simply carrying out her responsibilities in a respectful and professional manner, this woman chose to be hostile, condescending, and accusatory. She treated my girlfriend as though she were a criminal, went so far as to call her a liar, and refused to leave our property after being asked.
Being a process server does not give someone an excuse to intimidate, insult, or disrespect people. Serving legal documents is a routine professional responsibility, not an opportunity to pass personal judgment on someone's character or circumstances.
What I find particularly concerning is the potential liability and reputational risk this type of behavior creates for the companies that hire her. A process server represents the business or legal professionals who retain their services. Someone who unnecessarily escalates situations, provokes confrontations, and disregards reasonable requests to leave a property can turn an otherwise straightforward interaction into a serious problem.
If I were a law firm or business hiring a process server, I would think very carefully before allowing someone with this temperament to represent my company. Her conduct reflected extremely poorly not only on herself but potentially on anyone associated with her services.
There was absolutely no reason for this interaction to become unpleasant. A competent professional could have completed the service respectfully and left without incident. Instead, she turned a simple task into an unnecessarily hostile encounter.
I rarely feel compelled to leave a negative review, but this experience was disturbing enough that I believe others deserve to know what they may be dealing with.
Professionalism should be the bare minimum in this line of work. Unfortunately, based on our experience, I cannot recommend her or her company under any circumstances. read more
