I took the Audio Engineering Course at Unity Gain in 1996. It was much less expensive and fit into…read moremy schedule way more than the school all my friends were telling me I should go to. The course was thorough and comprehensive and gave me the skills I needed to engage in a career of recording and live sound. I really enjoyed the small class size and the personal attention from the instructors. My first day of working for an audio engineer after I completed the course ended up with him paying the school the best compliment. He said,"I was surprised, you really do know what you are doing! That hasn't always been the case with people coming out of the bigger schools."That gig led to a job as a sound op for plays at the Asolo Theater and ended up in a 14 year stint as the Technical Director/ Recording Engineer for the Sarasota Orchestra as well as being a sought after Sound Designer in the Sarasota area. During this time, in 2005, I went back to Unity Gain to take the newly offered Advanced Course which honed my skills in digital multitrack recording and editing. I am currently working for a touring video game orchestra concert which premiered in Sydney, Australia and has upcoming dates in Toronto and London. I owe my career to Anthony, Bart and the rest of the staff at Unity Gain. Their expertise and passion for the craft set me on the path that has changed my life. The skills I learned at Unity Gain, from recording and editing to customer relations, have kept me gainfully employed from the time I left. The education they provide will give you the tools necessary to work in the real world of audio production and to go as far as you want .

The website doesn't have a single listing in Texas. Not one! And that's just Texas! Look at the other states. Nothing or just a couple. Crazy. I run about a dozen doula groups on Facebook and the outrage is real. He's taken money from many, many women-owned, mom-run, small businesses. These ladies care for pregnant and birthing and postpartum families and throwing away $100 at a time is not something they can afford. I personally didn't realize my ad was no longer on the site for the past 8 years. I know, I should have kept up with it and followed up and demanded an answer, but it's always an initial reply from Nancy and then nothing after that. You pay the money, submit all your info and just expect it will show up. I want my money back. All of it. Con artists!!!!
