He was so clean cut and professional we were really pleased right off the bat! He had our bedroom painted, fully finished and beautiful in about 2.5 hrs, no smudges, drips, nothing. Perfect!!! Would recommend them absolutely!

We chose Pure Painters because they offered a discount coupon through a discount club…read more We contacted the company to arrange the job of painting two bathrooms, one bedroom and a small corridor. Initially everything seemed in order. They accepted the work. As the date approached, they did not contact us to confirm our paint colours, the total cost and what time the painter(s) would arrive. We attempted to contact Pure Painters in order to confirm all of this, not once but four times. It was not until the last time that we received any response. The owner confirmed that a painter was scheduled for the NEXT DAY and requested that we email him the details regarding paint and contact information and that he would answer all of our questions then. He never responded. However, a painter did show up the next day, but we would have appreciated knowing what time to have expected him. The painter was a credit to the organization. He worked hard and did a good job. The owner called us two days after the job was complete, asking if we needed anything painted. He didn't even recognize that we were existing clients that had already tried to work with him. I told him that the job was complete, we were happy with the painter and his work, but that we were unhappy and frustrated with his level of communication. He told us that he found it frustrating to work with customers that would "call him 20 times looking for confirmation". He inferred that we harassed him by trying to tell him the colours we wanted, asking how much the job would cost in total and asking when would the painter arrive. Needless to say we were not impressed with the rudeness and poor level of customer service. Avoid Pure Painters!!!

It is my hope that this review will warn others of many other extremely negative experiences people have had with this company and save others from getting scammed out of tens of thousands of dollars. There are numerous reviews on the Better Business Bureau's website that are very similar to my experience: https://www.bbb.org/ca/bc/surrey/profile/painting-contractors/sharp-lines-painting-renovations-0037-2405686/complaints The work was terrible, the damage to my house remains unfixed, the business stopped corresponding, and the invoices reflected inflated charges that were never discussed. Overall, he charged me 150% more than the agreed-upon contract, and didn't even finish all the work.

First job: Aaron returned my initial call within minutes,…read moreeven though it was after hours. Offered to come to the house within the next few days. He was very personable, very professional and very efficient, handing me a firm estimate after inspecting the house. I had had another estimate from a less professional company which was similarly priced, however Aaron offered to move whatever furniture necessary, whereas the other quote was subject to my moving all furniture myself. Aaron set the workday in the next week, they all showed up on time, they set to work, working non-stop and like a well-tuned machine. The jub was completed by noon the following day, with all nail holes and joins filled in and perfectly painted. The painting of my guest suite was beautifully done and all furniture and paintings replaced after. Aaron returned a few weeks later to help with a small personal project to help me out (I am handicapped and was in dire need of a handrail). He did this after hours and quickly so I wasn't left stranded even though this wasn't his company's focus. I'm very grateful for Aaron's professionalism, courteousness and assistance. I highly recommend them. Second job: Was so impressed with the first job I contracted them again for another. I booked them for crown moulding installation in my kitchen, but three days before the scheduled appointment I asked if they would also paint the LR, DR, Hall and Foyer. No problem. Dana did the painting and I cannot praise her enough! I was worried about some antique pieces of furniture that would have to be moved, but as it turned out, I had no reason to. She was so careful and so gentle - I was simply floored. Everything was replaced exactly where it was supposed to be and moved the the greatest of care, the painting was perfect and she was pleasant and smiling throughout, even after 10:30pm as she wanted to 'stay until it was finished'! I cannot praise them enough! And the price was fair too,
