The other places nearby offer set dinners for €10-20, but this place goes from €27-49. Under the dreamy charm of the little town, we decide we can splurge a bit and enjoy some fine French dining. The first server, on realizing that we speak very little French, passed us on to another server who turns out be from South America! He did his best to explain the menu. It features highly the regional favorites of duck and truffle, but also has a new spin, such as cooking duck in earl grey tea leaves and serving scallop with enoki mushrooms. I had the saddle of lamb but every entree was ordered around the table, they were all complex flavours and textures, the temps were perfect, the meats juicy and fresh, the vegetables cooked perfectly and the sauces... just wow.
