My impressions after opening... meh. They got so excited when DFO Jindalee first opened they had to put No Parking signs all up the highway and around all the streets so the residents wouldn't get annoyed at the masses of people coming to get their bargains, it would be like the airport DFO... but not really. Not really was definetely the case... there isn't a Diana Ferrari shop. There isn't a Mountain Designs shop either, the foodcourt looks dismal at best and since opening just recently, about 30-40% of all the initial shops are now closed. Even my favourite Angus and Gus shop for kiddies has shut down. The foodcourt used to have 6 little eateries, now there's about 2. They are dying a slow and painful death and putting up 'new exciting shops coming soon' in place of the 'new exciting shops have just shut down because no one comes here' is not really helping. There is a Rivers here if that's any consolation... as well as a Lorna Jane. But trust me when I say, there is not much else. The council have since removed the no parking signs (that was never a problem it seems) and there are ample parks for everyone to go.

It's fun to shop here. Not everything is discounted and it's fun to find the things that are super…read morereduced and make a huge saving. Know your prices before you come or bring a smart phone so you can compare prices. Parking is easy and adequete for the number of people that come here.

They have recently just opened a store in Mt Ommaney Shopping Centre, and although the shirts are cheaper than the average man shop, the quality isn't too bad either. It lies somewhere between Cotton On and Just Jeans, which in my books, isn't too bad at all, seeing that men will do the same thing to a $100 shirt they do to a $15. So why break the bank right? I got Christmas presents for my brother and my husband here, when I was walking around thinking what the ... should I get them this time. So if you're doing some shirt shopping, try them out, they also have a range of formal wear, hats belts and other accessories as well. It'll be interesting to see what happens to them in the long run.

There is a 24 hour McDonalds located on site so you'll never go hungry, and there is a place that you can do your Yoga at if you're into that. There is also Rowdy Rascals for the kids and a place that sells stuff for horses, showing, jumping, equestrian type stuff. Oh did I mention lighting and bike shops too? It's split into two sections, the bottom and the top with a Coles and some cafe's and doctor surgeries on the top part... most of the home stuff is on the other level where McDonalds is. I live around this area, and there isn't something I can't find here, so it's pretty handy.

Although I had to bring the car in quite early, 7am, I had some coffee and waited until the shops opened at 9am. I was able to run all my errands in Mt Ommaney Centre as my car was being serviced. This was the best part. Customer service is good and feels personal. They were friendly and clearly explained everything to me. This is one of the most convenient places I've ever had my car serviced at and I absolutely loved it.

This Overflow has many things I need when it comes to casual parties, all disposable stuff of course! Reusable or disposable table clothes, plates, cups and cutlery. It's great, I hardly spend over $20. Service is pretty crappy here, the staff don't really care much for it's customers as I've never seen one help someone out. When I've had a question, it's answered by the staff in the shortest sentence possible and without directing me in the right direction. But then again, if I were a staff member here, surrounded by items with really low value, I'd start to feel pretty low value myself. Maybe that's it. They don't like their job. I don't care too much though, because it's not like I come here for their customer service. I'm in, then out.

I was surprised to find some good steel framed chairs for kids. They were really cheap too, with disney characters on them. I had been looking for these ones for a while, not the cheap plastic ones with legs that bend, these are good steel hardy ones. Saves me a trip to IKEA to tell you the truth and i'm thankful for that. What you will also find here are your usual bargain shop nonsense, but they do have a pretty good range of wall stickers and doorway hanger uppers as well as party accessories that don't suck. Truly. I bought a lot of party stuff for my daughter's first here. The staff know where everything is in the chaos that is their store, and are pretty friendly too. I'd definetely come here for cheap batteries or specific knick knacks I need through the year.

This toy shop has been around since i've lived in the area, easily over 15 years. The signage…read morelooks a bit dated and sun worn, the toys are stacked outside and inside the door and down the cramped halls of the shop in a very messy manner. The toys they sell outside are all sun damaged - yet they are still trying to sell them at the same price as if they were still brand new. Things are carelessly piled inside the doorway and the little aisles are in categories, but messy just the same. Normally I wouldn't mind all this shop cosmetic stuff, but when the prices here are more than other toy shops I've gone into, as well as big department stores, I have a problem with them. Especially trying to sell the outside in the sun stuff. It rubs me the wrong way, the trike I was looking at for my daughter was at least $10 more here than at Toys R Us, and other lego accessories were at least $30-$50 more than the same ones in Myer and other places we'd looked. So not a huge fan, I guess you can still find stuff for your kids... in the chaos that is inside.

Sure, the store is small but the staff do the best they can to make sure the store is neat and tidy and well stocked. Unfortunately the sun damage on the trike can't be helped. When i was after a trike, they built me a brand new one without even trying to sell me the sun damaged one. And Lastly, if the shelves are messy... It's probably your kids that messed it up!
