I had attempted to replace a garbage disposal, but had an issue with a pipe falling apart. I emailed Rick after 9pm that night, and he responded to my email by calling before 8am the next morning. On the phone call, Rick clearly explained the work to be completed. Rick made the service call himself early in the afternoon, and resolved my issues quickly. He was able to access our crawl space, and navigate his way down there to running a new pipe for my kitchen sink. He installed the Garbage disposal, and cleared the clogged sink drain. The work was performed professionally, quickly.. and priced reasonably. The bill clearly listed all work performed, and detailed pricing. I was terrified by the thought that sewage would come pouring into the house. I know someone who had that happen and it was a nightmare. Mr. Sweeney had the most up to date equipment available. He ran a camera down through the toilet to see what was happening - and it was bad. The roots of a massive cherry tree had gone into the pipe and clogged it. When the backhoe started digging, they found a full septic tank the house was built in the 1950s. Unbelievable. It was just left there when the house was connected to the township sewer system. The full septic tank sat there for decades apparently. We had no idea when we bought this house 3 years ago - maybe the previous owner didn't know - or maybe they knew and did not disclose it. The sewer pipe zig zagged across the yard to avoid the septic tank! It's surprising this crazy mess lasted as long as it did. The tank was pumped out and broken into pieces. Mr. Sweeney did not increase the cost !! So now we have a proper sewer pipe to the township system - and the full septic tank is gone. I am so grateful to Mr. Sweeney, his son and his crew for helping us. And he is an incredibly nice guy! He briefed us every step of the way. Sweeney's Mechanical is absolutely the best !!

The Yelp representative (Kelly?) had replied to my inquiry regarding the availability of a plumber and said one was available the same day to come out & provide a free estimate . I agreed & Christian Plumbing called & said a technician would come @ 3:30 PM. Around 2:30 PM I received a phone call from the technician (Nick?) saying that there was a service call charge of $250 to come out to provide an estimate. Talk about "bait & switch", this was the worst scam ever.
