I couldn't be happier with my decision to enroll him in The Goddard School. The Goddard School is a modern preschool with all of the bells and whistles--cutting-edge curriculum, dynamic educators, state-of-the-art security-- with a huge heart. That's a key differentiator here...heart. It's what was sorely lacking at the other preschool my son attended. The owner, director, and support staff truly care about each and every child. When I drop my son off every morning, he can't wait to get to his classroom to play with the interactive toys, explore the sensory tables, and read in the cozy book nooks (he loves bringing in books from home to share with his class; this school does a beautiful job of promoting a lifetime love of reading). The outdoor play area is always a hit...as is pizza day (the school orders pizza for the kids on Thursdays and he loves it!). The facility is clean and inviting. I know my son has support, guidance, and materials he needs to thrive in Kindergarten at The Goddard School, but that's not all. He's welcomed with open arms; he's challenged academically; he's encouraged to believe in himself; he's well cared for; he's celebrated for his successes. He smiles widely when I ask him about his day...and I am often surprised when he tells me the Spanish word for something out of nowhere, or shows me a new yoga pose. I didn't teach him those things...his teachers did. I recommend The Goddard School without hesitation or reservation. Enrolling my child was one of the best decisions I have made as a mom.

I completely trust the teachers here and my daughter is truly happy when she's there. They have also recently started a private Facebook page where they post videos and pictures of them throughout the day. Just another way they go above and beyond to make parents feel even more happy and comfortable while their child is at school. In regards to the comment below about the allergy- I'm not buying it. If a child had a deadly allergy to peanuts and 911 was not called, an epi-pen was not administered, and no actions were taken in a "life & death situation", then how would the child have survived that? There's no way something like that would happen in this school with the teachers they have there. Absolutely no way.

The directors know every parent and child by name, and the teachers send frequent photos, videos, and other updates throughout the day. They have taken the COVID-19 pandemic very seriously and have added appropriate protocols to keep everyone feeling healthy and safe. The family coordinator has helped me change our schedule numerous times without even a blip. I can't recommend this center highly enough, they're just awesome.

When they started they barely could hold a pencil right never mind write letters. Since they have been there within a month they not only can hold a pencil right but write letters (and enjoy doing so)!! They love going to this school. They especially love the science lab (we do too) and the indoor playground/gym. Unlike their previous school, this school doesn't keep the kids outside when it's too cold (30 is the cutoff) and when it is too cold or rainy they still get to spend their energy in a warm setting in their indoor playground which is the equivalent of those indoor playgrounds with safe and fun climbing structures. Another positive about this school is that the directors And teachers listen when you have a concern and make Sure it's addressed. Oh and meals are included although I tend to send my twins in with extra food because they are going through a growth spurt and are picky eaters. While this school is double what we used to pay it's absolutely worth it. My kids have flourished there and it makes going to work easier. Thank you OFLC for a job well done!

The preschool does offer weekly live guitarist who sings with the kids, also to its credit it has a talented Spanish teacher who makes this language interesting. Kind teachers. Program is planned & executed, BUT, parents don't get daily updates on activities, only weekly. Only ONE teacher per class. For most activities they combine the classes which creates chaos. Last year I saw one teacher dealing with 9 boys ages 4,5. The were constantly combined with my son's class 3,4 yr olds. During break times none effective or lacking adult supervision. My child was pushed down the stairs TWICE!! And they didn't even know! My then 3 year old was hit a few times in school & only once did they report it, AFTER, I started contacting the school with my concerns. My child loved his friends & teacher but was terrified of two older kids who would be combined at activity time. The teachers are GOOD, but supervision between class & at break time is lacking. Staff chatting instead of being present in the moment & comments like " boys will be boys" in response to your concerns.

The teacher referred to who had the degree in accounting, was fantastic and was one of my daughter's favorite teachers. During my daughter's first year at Puckihuddle, the staff observed that my daughter was very sensitive to loud music, noises, and singing. They were very receptive and told me right away about what they had observed, recommended that I have her evaluated by her doctor and even provided her with ear muffs to wear when there was music playing, etc. and allowed her to be in a quieter area when she was overwhelmed by the sounds. The issue ended up resolving itself as she got a little older, but I had such peace of mind knowing that they had so quickly observed the issue and worked to help her with it.
