We hopped in front of their cameras and acted like kids for 15 seconds. The book was printed, cut and stapled a minute later. We were HOOKED! We ran into our venue coordinator at that same expo and showed her all of our research. However, the thing we were MOST excited about was the flipbook, which she had also never ever seen before. She was so impressed by them that she negotiated with Kristy to work our wedding at no cost to us. When we got this news, I swear to you, we reacted as though we had just won the lottery. We were SO EXCITED to have the On The Flipside Mobile Flipbook Studio at our wedding. Throughout the process, Kristy and her designers were incredibly helpful and attentive. They helped us design our personalized flipbook covers (which turned out beautiful!), and were very professional every step of the way. They were amazing on the actual wedding day, too. They arrived early to set up and their take-down was not distracting at all. Our guests LOVED the flip books. I can not even begin to describe how amazing it felt to see serious people like my 80 year old Abuelito get in front of the camera in an Elvis costume and revert to a 4 year-old child for 15 seconds. It warmed my heart so much to see our guests have such a good time and to also be able to take home such a unique gift. Additionally, my husband and I were given a cute bag with a few copies of the "best" flipbooks for us to have as memories forever. I will cherish those forever and ever. Kristy was so accommodating and a pleasure to work with. You can tell she is so passionate about her brand & strives to provide an exceptional experience and product. Kelly helped me with my printout design & I loved the final product - she too was easy to work with. Sarah and Casey were amazing, professional, accommodating & so much fun on the day of the event! The boxed system and setup is extremely easy to use: 1 touch gives you 4 successive pictures and the timing is adequate (not too rushed or unexpected). Props were provided and there's no need for an attendant to monitor the booth, but Sean was around if there are any problems that occur. The pictures print out in a strip immediately from a printer next to the booth with custom logos for the event, and the lighting is very flattering--an important note for any picture taker. One feature I've seen on another instant photo booth apps is the ability to immediately tweet your picture by logging in, which is a neat idea! Would love to see Smilehub integrate this for easy future access to pictures and for the ability to live tweet our picture right after it happens! The bad: 1) The requested backdrop was unavailable. I was told 2.5 hours before the event started and had to choose an alternate backdrop. 2) An attendant was not present during the event which led to less quantity and quality of pictures saved/shared to attendees. 3) The picture overlay created for the event was not available for use on the device. 4) Boost Photo did not respond to an email, sent 5 days prior to the event, requesting the contact information for the attendant for event coordination. 5) No props were provided as stated in the Express package. Overall, I would not recommend Boost Photo Booth Co. to others as they failed to provide critical aspects of the express package we purchased. We had 65 attendees at the event and took hundreds of photos, less than 20 were received in total.

Brian is very professional to work with, from setting up time to making personalized touches to the photo strip images. If you are fortunate enough that Brian is available, he is always early to the event to get set up with his awesome photo booth. He brings it all and doesn't ask for help (but I don't mind helping!). He's always ready for action when the time starts with a table FULL of awesome and fun props. I also love the light booth he uses, just the right light to make anyone look amazing, especially in a wig and feather boa. Then, the favorite part of the event, the photo strips that he is able to print out. It's so much fun to have something to physically take home from the night. I think the biggest thing to remember is that people are shy at the start of the event, so it's a little quieter. But as the night winds up/down, the photo booth becomes the hot spot! Set up on time, broke everything down really quick after the event, and gave us some great lasting memories. One thing I really appreciate - Brian uses a high-resolution camera in the booth, not just an iPad, so the picture quality on our photo strips is excellent. He also customizes the photo print outs to include our logo alongside the event logo, so the marketing value of the booth is extended beyond the event. Both went great! Uyen is as sweet as can be, and she will get any shot you want. She also came prepared with props....I love props, lol. After our wedding day, all my friends and family went on and on about how great Uyen was. I am very pleased with the end product and feel that Uyen really got to know us.
