Unfortunately, I've visited this hospital numerous times both as a patient and visitor. Fortunately (for me), it has been on a visitor basis the last couple of years. The hospital has grown exponentially with new buildings. The staff are kind, the security and valet are on point, and the hospital rooms are very clean. As a patient, I appreciate the ability to order meals in advance. Moreover, they offer lots of alternatives such as almond and oat milk. As a visitor, I appreciate the ability to grab a cup of Joe. Bonus: if you're a fan of Starbucks, they serve it. They also have a large gift shop. Finally, the patient portal is a fantastic resource. While I hope I don't need to return as a patient anytime in the near future, I have no reservations about checking in at JMC especially for any oncology needs. read more

The last IT person told me to check medical records to make sure everything was correct. So I went in person. My husband and I share the same email. Besides the construction, which was a pain but not too kids of a pain... everyone was unbelievably friendly and helpful here! was here with a family member recently, and I must say, Jupiter Medical Center is absolutely stunning. The hospital is beautifully designed, making it feel less clinical and more welcoming. The serene environment really adds a sense of calm during what can often be stressful times. The service was great--staff were kind and attentive. I especially appreciated the option to receive text updates about my family member's status. It was such a thoughtful feature and really helped ease some of the anxiety. The only downside was the strong cologne and perfume worn by some of the staff. It was a bit overwhelming, especially in a healthcare setting where some patients or visitors may be sensitive to scents. Overall, it's a top-tier facility with excellent service, and I would definitely recommend it (just with a gentle note to go lighter on the fragrances). read more

I didn't realize Jupiter is a not-for-profit hospital my sister was very sick with an infected gallstone they understood that her being on immunosuppressive drugs for severe colitis might be masking more symptoms they kept her an observation and didn't release her until blood cultures were done I am sure any of the local would be more concerned with low reimbursement then doing the right thing as it turned out on the third day she spiked a high fever and had a severely elevated white count so thank God they kept her. the staff is absolutely wonderful knowledgeable polite the volunteers are amazing and the hospital is full of all types of people donating and giving money to this place I understand why . my sister whom I have power of attorney has made it clear that she's not going to any other hospital in the future except Jupiter Medical Center and I don't blame her. read more

I would give this hospital a 0 if I could. My husband received the worst care and died at the hands of an incompetent nurse on the 23 rd day as he was being released to rehab. After this incident no one ever came into the room again. No one answered my phone calls or explained what happened. If I hadnt been in the room to witness the incident no one would ever have told me the truth. Before that the doctor sent my husband twice for a biopsy and he forgot to follow proper procedures and only the third time did they do the biopsy. He was negligent and incompetent. I tried to file a complaint in writing but when I went to the hospital they refused to tell me who to give it to and took it at the front desk I am sure it never got to the correct person. Do not send your loved one to this hospital. I have tried to sue for malpractice but have been told he was too old and the case too complicated I swear this is the truth. read more

They put me in a hallway staring at a door - no one checked on me, no one offered water, ice ..... really really pathetic. Will never come back. I have always thought JMC was top notch, but know I can say they have slipped. I had an MRI of my ' BRAIN' ordered and THREE days later there is no report. That is 'BAD'. I understand that an inpatient would come first and it is the 'Holidays' but when I was in the medical field 'Holidays' meant very little. It was understood Patients are first. Hemoglobin: 4.6, Two (2) days of Blood Tests, MRI & Xray, (3) Bag Blood Transfusion June 19. Discharged June 20 w Zero Information, Zero Test Reviewed and No Visit from Gastro as promised. 1. I really appreciate the short term wait to be admitted in the ER, I was with a leg pain of 10/10. Everything was nice until they admitted me in for the night then things started to go downhill. The nurse name TIFFANY working on the Friday 10 of January , kept saying that I trew my phone at her. My phone slipped out of my hands and she literally walk out to find someone to made a complaint. I felt really uncomfortable as she kept repeating all night that I trew my phone at her. Really unprofessional I was in extreme pain and I had no idea of what was going on. I went to Margaret Niedland for a Mammogram during breast cancer awareness month October of 2025 . I was overcharged for my visit assured that I would be reimbursed. The lady doing the appointment check-in should have known better . I am still waiting , I have sent in documentation, called many many times no one in the billing office can find any information. Jupiter is a joke . Instead of building up , maybe they should look into hiring more competent staff. Never going there again !! read more

From the emergency room visit to being admitted to the hospital for six days, my experience has been five star plus with everyone except for maintenance. I want to personally name the individuals of staff who made my stay at Jupiter Hospital so comfortable so assuring so restful I can't say enough good things about them. Listed in no particular order are the following outstanding employees: Juna, Anessa, Tara, Alexzena, Chelea, Roseline, Carol, Dr Malik, Dr Aden and his nurse Practitioner Ken. Some of the spelling may not be correct, and I may have left out one or two but overall five star all the way. My only complaints are with the mattress which was very uncomfortable and, on my last two days, I had a leak in my bathroom and with every flushthe toilet water would shoot on the floor. I called for maintenance. The nurses called for maintenance multiple times and maintenance never once showed up to evaluate or to repair the problem. This was a safety hazard because walking in there with a wet floor could've been a very problemic situation if I have slipped and fallen. One last compliment addresses the food which I found the food to be exceptionally good. Most people have complaints about hospital food, but they must have never eaten at Jupiter Hospital. I'm very fussy with my food and I found the food to be tasteful and plentiful for breakfast lunch, and dinner.. I hope I never have to return but if I ever do, I know that I will be in good hands with the staff at Jupiter medical Center. read more

This review is specific to the billing department. I sent 2 messages via MyChart, both on 11/24/25. The automated response message states, "Please allow up to 48 hours for a reply." Today is 12/14/25 and STILL no reply. I read another review stating their billing department "no longer exists". Sure seems that way except for the fact that we were sent multiple bills. They are happy to collect your money but not answer messages I suppose. read more

I had a recent visit to the E/R @ JMC on October 11, 2025. I took my neighbor there for evaluation of severe abdominal pain. We were both impressed with how clean the E/R appearance was. The staff extremely professional, kind, and caring. The MD thorough and also very professional and caring. My friend had several x-rays, and bloodwork that the MD ordered. The doctor informed us after completion of tests she would f/u with results. All good....until we are escorted out to sit in the E/R entry waiting room to wait for results! OK, now I notice several other patients escorted out as well. All of the patients with IV ports that are intact because we are not done here yet. Where the disappointment happens is how completion of the E/R visit went. Apparently, there is NO regards for the HIPPA laws at JMC. The MD came out and explained to my friend and the ENTIRE Waiting Room the results of the x-rays and blood test!! Also, the medication that was going to be ordered. Overall, this hospital deserves 5 stars, so sad the last part of treatment process was ridiculous! I am confused by the process of being worked up and escorted back out to the waiting area and no regards for medical privacy for the patients. read more

From the moment I arrived for my procedure, I was treated with the utmost respect and kindness, and I was impressed by the exceptional teamwork. They didn't just provide medical care; they provided genuine emotional support. They took the time to explain every medication and procedure in a way I could understand, which immediately lowered my anxiety. I felt like more than just a patient; I felt truly cared for. I have been trying to get my bill for a visit to the urgent care back in March 2025 corrected for over 8 months now. They miscoded the insurance adjustment in my EOB as a denial and keep trying to get me to pay the portion of the bill that was adjusted down based on my insurance conracted price. My wife and I have wasted easily more than 20 hours on the phone as well as multiple in person visits to the billing office (that no longer even exists) to get it corrected. We have had BCBS (our insurance) on a 3 way call with the billing department explaining that they have the bill wrong and that there was no denial of any part of the service and telling them the correct amount to bill us and they keep just resending the original incorrect amount. Now they are threatening to send our debt to a debt collector and the only person we can get in touch with us a foriegn call center that can even pull up the original EOB. They can only see the info that was incorrectly keyed into the system by their back office team. It is so frustrating! If they can't get a simple two line item bill right, I can't imagine how messed up their bills are for a full hospital visit. I am quite sure there are many people out there getting screwed over by this incompetent billing department. I smell a class action lawsuit coming. read more

I do not do very many reviews however health is so important that I knew I had to.I have a serious medical condition and the staff, nurses, doctors ET. Have ruined my health even further.These notes go from place to place and because of their ​negligence the doctors have zero to go by, but what Jupiter's nurses write! If they like you, you are accepted,if not for God knows what reason you are out of luck. They write horrible things about you and wrong reports etc. If you are truly ill please go somewhere else. As a 30 year resident and after a recent visit I have noticed a clear decline in cleansliness in the emergency room and in the nurse population. I found the nurses I encountered to be flippant and arrogant and uncaring. There is a lack of proffesionalism in manner and dress. Review your hiring practices. That's my suggestion and start allowing patients to review nurses. The nurses on the 5th floor were rude, condesending and uncaring. Lax hiring policies. read more

Was seen in the ER over 3 months ago and gave insurance they still haven't billed the insurance but continue to send bills for balance. Messaged office multiple times no response. My experience is based on labor & delivery and postpartum maternity care. The nurses and staff are very friendly and caring. The labor and delivery staff were informative and calming. They walked me through all of the details of my delivery and kept me well informed on what to expect. The room was spacious (rather huge). After labor, they quickly moved me to the postpartum section. The labor nurses came to visit me in the postpartum unit to check on me and baby. I had an excellent experience with labor and delivery! The postpartum nurses were also friendly but lacked attention to detail. I constantly had to follow up with questions about when I could have my additional medicine (pain and stool softeners) as opposed to them being on top of things and providing it to me in a timely manner. That is part of the main the reason for the 4 star review. Also, lacked a "goody bag" for new moms. When I previously gave birth in Atlanta, they provided a toiletries bag including hair brush, tooth brush, tooth paste, shampoo, conditioner, mouth wash, lotion, and a nice black bag full of mesh underwear, pads, body and face wipes, ice packs, etc. At this hospital, they provide a tiny toiletries bag with small bottles of shampoo, condition, and lotion. I feel they were severely lacking in products to help make a mom feel more clean and comfortable after delivery. The TVs in the rooms have hookups for roku, fire stick, etc but was locked in a mode that didn't allow guests to switch input mode to use any of these devices. That was a huge bummer. They have basic cable channels- about 30 channels. The food at this hospital is actually pretty tasty! However timeliness of delivery is a huge issue. The orders often took 1.5-2 hours before arrival. We asked if we could do pickup instead of delivery, assuming we could get it quicker, but they don't allow that. I highly recommend the chocolate brownie!!!! Delicious and possibly the best brownie I've ever had. read more

Amazing experience of childbirth at Jupiter Medical Center even with covid rules. All the nursing, housekeeping, and staff are amazing in this hospital. They take care of you like you are family and go above and beyond. For example a housekeeping staff gave me her direct line if I needed anything. Labor and delivery is where I was at and it was an amazing experience. They took care of me nonstop and provided great healthcare. Due to covid my husband couldn't leave the room, so no cafeteria or other dining options like uber eats etc. However they were allowing patients to bring food from home in containers and there was mini fridges in the rooms, and the staff was nice enough to warm up food. The only thing I would suggest is that they have longer hours for ordering food - the hospital food option was from 7AM to 7PM- so I delivered at 12AM and I didn't have anything to eat except a popsicle I craved. And food we had brought. Because of covid they are providing plus 1 in delivery 3 meals a day too. So maybe after 7 pm they could have prepackaged meals for people who are delivering after hours. Overall great experience, they have valet options, maternity close parking, easy check in procedure, preregistration from prior etc. Side Note- If you are delivering in this hospital make sure to meet the lactation consultant each day to learn more. They are wonderful sources of information. read more

This place is terrible just like everything else in Jupiter, expect ridiculously long waiting time with no real solutions. If you have a choice, I recommend finding a different hospital. I waited nearly 4 hours and eventually got so hungry I walked out. I told them I have to to take my blood pressure medicine and need a little bit of food or else I will vomit, that fell on deaf ears. After being sick with a fever for more than two weeks finally decided to check myself in to the er because I went to my primary twice and tried three different antibiotics with no luck , I was sick and hungry with a fever that I had for two weeks and they run an IV and taking bloods twice, two hours went by then they put me back in the waiting discharge room & left my IV in and left me sitting there in the cold room with a fever & sick people coughing all over the place for another hour and a half before I finally got disgusted and left, before I left, I kindly asked them to take the IV out, she told me to wait, another 20 minutes past and I said I'll take it out myself cause this is crazy. Then she told me and my mom they won't send the records of the bloodwork to my doctor, and they won't call me with them either, but they will charge my insurance company. Wow! then when I got home, she called me and threatened to call the police if I didn't come back and let her remove the IV, she called me to threaten me, but she couldn't call me with the blood results we paid for, I told her to do what she has to because I have to start getting ready for work & I need to eat and take my blood pressure medicine, if you'd like to wait till I'm done eating, I'll come back. That wasn't good enough for her even though I just waited four hours for what seemed like total incompetence to me. I'm sad to say Western medicine is a scam and a joke, these people act like they're paying me to be there, it's insane. Got there at 7:30mDidn't get home till nearly 12 noon with no answer answers and still no bloodwork results , no nothing, then she has to threaten me with the police, like she could call me to threaten me with the police, but she can't give me my blood results or send them to my doctor or email them to me, but they will charge my insurance company. Scam scam scam alert , western medicine is the biggest scam. Now I know why Joe Rogan and Dana White and all these famous people are starting to come out and speak against western medicine. You guys are the worst ... Unless you have a broken bone or need some kind of immediate surgery these people will let you get worse and worse in the name of profits. I am disgusted at what I went through today absolutely disgusted and if you're reading this, I hope I could save you some trouble, find a different hospital with better reviews. We went here to deliver our baby boy ! This review should be all about nurses. This hospital is best probably from 80% because nurses. They care so much they know so much ! Our baby end up in NICU for 11 days and due to this horrible time for us i have to say nurses on NICU were the one who kept us in loop positive and it felt good that people like that care so much much about out baby and us as parents. My mother in law got admitted on Christmas Eve. She was very confused and agitated. I don't live close so I was not there. She called me crying not knowing where she was or why she was there. She said she was freezing. I called the nurse's station and got the most helpful nurse. She explained everything and said she was on her way to the room with a heated blanket. She was patient and kind explaining that the first night can be difficult but tomorrow morning will be better. She could not have been better for excellent care or for helping me. read more
