I came to Junto for a solo dinner last week and it was amazing! I made a reservation a couple of weeks in advance and was only able to find availability for 5:30pm. Fair warning that you will not find parking at this time, park at any spot you see in the vicinity. I was 30 mins late because of this but they still seated me. The service was great too, they came to check in on me a good amount of times and I got some great recommendations! Food: Yellowtail carpaccio: 10/10 it's perfect, the fish is so fresh and works perfectly with the orange oil and ponzu. The Serrano packs a necessary punch. I would eat 3 of these if I could! Hamachi Toro Aburi nigiri: it was really good and well balanced Madai nigiri: nothing too exciting but a good nigiri piece. I don't think the speciality nigiri is special enough to warrant its price. Mushroom Small Plate: this came recommended by my server and it was amazing. Mint and dill with intense mushroom umami left me wanting more! This is a must get with the carpaccio. The meal doesn't have to be too expensive if you get filling rolls but I'm not a big fan of creamy sushi so this meal was definitely pretty expensive. A great place for an occasion. read more

A wonderful dining experience in whole. The food was delicious, and in my opinion, the perfect upscale sushi restaurant that Bentonville was missing. Quality of the fish and all the ingredients were fresh and perfect. Our server was quick, polite, and helpful despite only having worked there for barely over a month. While new to finer dining, she made up for inexperience for with her attentiveness and attitude. Ambience was great and enjoyable for groups as well as intimate dinners. The only hiccup was in their reservation system. We arrived at 7:15pm for a 7:30pm reservation. After hanging out at the bar for 15 mins, we checked back in to have to wait for an additional almost 30 minutes to be seated due to underestimating dining time and the proper table layout. I believe this was a symptom of being a new restaurant versus a symptomatic issue and believe they will get it fixed. Once they have this figured out, I'll definitely change it to a 5 star status. "Food is our love language." Two members of the front-of-house staff told me this during my Sept. 2, 2024, dinner here, and based on every bite, I believe them. My wife and I stumbled upon this place by chance (as of my writing this, they have been open only four days) as we walked by the Motto Hotel. The restaurant itself is beautifully atmospheric, providing the perfect feel for a date night. We ordered the Salmon Usuzukuri (salmon with pickled wasabi, black volcano salt, chives, and covered in a truffle ponzu sauce), A5 Wagyu Sando (a sliced wagyu beef sandwich served on Japanese milk bread with a black garlic sauce), a Ceviche Roll (shrimp tempura, salmon, avocado, red onion, and leche de tigre topped with a "haystack" of yam), and a Baja California Roll (spicy tuna, yellowtail, and cucumber topped with serrano pepper, yuzu miso, and cilantro). I am not being dramatic when I say that this was one of the best dining experiences I've had in awhile. The flavors popped, the ingredients were very fresh and of exceptional quality, and the service was absolutely impeccable. Everything was served as it came out, one after the other, which did not crowd the table and allowed us to enjoy each dish in its own time. We even opted for dessert - Yuzu Eclair (Kaffir lime compressed blueberries, white chocolate, lemongrass creme, and yuzu curd), Matcha Passion Basque Cheesecake, and Mango Sherbet - each one perfection.
