It's a consignment store, with little themed niches throughout. I so enjoyed the beachy items and all sorts of very nice, collectable furniture & even a few very nice originals to hang on walls in some very large spaces! Seriously, buyer beware!!! I bought stuff there before, and liked it. This last time, I bought two paintings of white herons for $130.00 plus tax. That's $65.00 each. Guess what? I found the exact, same paintings at Old Tyme Pottery, in Daytona Beach for $29.99 each. That's $35.00 each over the RETAIL price! I called them, and they apologized, but offered no resolve. Do I think it's illegal? No, but do I think it's unethical? Yes. My family owned an upscale women's clothing store in Ft. Lauderdale for 30 years, and I've never seen such blatant mark up. What's really a shame is I think I'm supporting local, small business, but I feel that Junque in the Trunk is playing it's patrons for suckers. Now I am skeptical of all local consignment and art shops. So, if you see something you like there, take my advice and find it elsewhere for a whole lot less! purchased 2 lamps here yesterday...don't expect your fragile purchases to be wrapped for safe travel. I went next door to the DOLLAR STORE to get boxes to hold my lamps. What do they use to wrap any glass items?? Lots of junky stuff. It's hard to figure out exactly what kind of store this is.....antiques? crafts? poorly painted furniture? consignment? Florida art? Prices are NOT CHEAP either. If you are looking for a bargain, this is not a thrift store. Although some items look like they came from a thrift shop! read more

I enjoy walking around the store every few months and picking out something new. I read a negative review about someone finding the same item elsewhere at a lower price. So what? Their in business to make money. I bought an item at beall's outlet and saw it here at a much higher price. Good for them--that's business. Happy shopping. I love looking for bargains. read more

I have been in my favorite store so many times in past 4 years, WHY? I guess I am addicted, I don't want to miss anything I didn't see the last time I was in my walk about. I have purchased furniture, gifts for friends, arts, jewelry, oh dear, so much have I purchased. The kids I deal with (sales person's) are friends too, they know me and my daughter so well, Mike, is one of my favs, & my little gal is always so much a friend, we have a good time too. Buyer Beware! A table looked familiar, it was one that I had so I took a closer look to see how much it was. $175 each for a table that I bought at Lowe's for $65. There were nice antiques, interesting vintage pieces, and other items that looked like they were purchased from Marshall's or iCanvas. I am the vendor that the 2 crane pix purchase was given only 1 star on 5/23/2021. My pictures are bought new 1 of each or 2 of each from a whole sale distributor. I am sure the Olde Time Pottery buys close outs in large numbers. I do not want to purchase more than 1 or 2 pictures, I do not want to have my customers seeing their pix purchased from me all over town. This place is tucked deep in a strip mall. My GPS has us going every where but to the location. Anyways, it's behind a Shell station. I did really like a lot of the items inside and I love doing a recycle of older things and either fixing that broken hinge or giving a facelift with some paint. My problem is when those items are priced so high. There were Walmart TV trays that were painted and asking for quite a lot of money. *Sorry I forgot to take a pic and note the amount.* I remember going to consignments and they were better than the other type of stores of donated goods. Visited today hoping to buy a beautiful set of nesting bowls, but left without them due to poor customer service from who appeared to be the shop owner. One employee was super nice and eager to help, but the other (who seemed to be in charge) spoke over the nice one, telling me my question was "irrelevant". I was stunned and couldn't see paying almost $200 for an item there when the woman was so uninterested in being helpful to me. Super bummed because there were a lot of cute things and I'm decorating a new house. :( read more

I have been to Junque in the Trunk 4 times since moving here a couple months ago. The staff was friendly and helpful. I found the farm table with 2 benches that I have been hoping to find for the past year. The price was very reasonable. I am from the Atlanta area. Farm tables are in every antique/used furniture. I could never paid their prices. My table was delivered the next day. The two men were very nice and handled my purchase with care. I love this store. Love browsing even if I don't make a purchase. Everything is bright and happy. I smile each time I go there. read more

We were very impressed with the quality and selection of the inventory in this store, which is partly vendor areas and partly consignment items. There were many attractive furniture pieces at reasonable prices. We saw several items that were of interest to us, and bought a gorgeous ottoman for $99. read more

I didn't buy anything this time, but just browsing this place was great! If it weren't for that guy spinning signs on the highway, I probably would not have known it was there. The best part of the experience was the friendly staff! I will update this review in the future when I decide to buy something from there. I was a repeat selling and a buyer customer, they never remembered me. Always seemed surprised when I ask for my check. I had some upscale items to sell send pictures and a week later hadn't heard from them, I called they said Wade the owner was in Orlando and would call me tomorrow to give me a time. Waited 2 more days, no call, I called again told he's coming tomorrow, I asked about what time. The lady Dennis wasn't sure, said she'd call me back before the day was out, she never called. I called the next day to find out about what time someone would be here. I was put on hold for 16 minutes and got a hang up, I called back and she was short with me saying she was the only one running the store. Dennis said she just talked to Wade and he said he'd call me sometime next week to come out and look at my stuff not to buy it. I've never been treated so badly. I guess the old saying is correct.
