Junk
Situated on a nice small street that can be accessed by walking only, sits a strip of café's and restaurants where people come chill, European/Turkish style.
I ate a BBQ burger here and also smoked some hookah. The burger was alright but they smothered it in BBQ sauce. There is something as too much of anything. Once I scraped off the sauce it was tasty and the burger did not have that Kofte seasoning taste that most places usually spice their "burgers" up with. You have to to have lived there to understand what I am saying. The food was nothing that will blow your mind but good for a bite with friends. Hookah is always hitting. No issues here with the smoke.
I remember when I lived back in Turkey, 10 years ago, and the service was ridiculous, meaning the servers were all over you. If you took a sip of water, they were there filling up your glass. With this new generation, things are a bit different and you can tell. Damn waiters playing on their phones instead of looking at the customers. You know short attention spans I guess. Either way, this is a hip place to enjoy some coffee, tea, snack, and hookah if that's your thing. Just don't be in a rush.
*Smoking allowed but mostly done in the outside benches. read more
