I got a quote from 1-800-Got-Junk to be able to provide a better value comparison between the "name brand" company, and the locally owned company. 1-800-GOT-JUNK is national and thus they have a call-center support to take calls and seemed totally fine with stopping by to provide a cost estimate. There were two guys who showed up with a truck and were able to come on short notice. They provided a two-hour time window of when they would arrive Junk Removed Now likewise was able to provide an estimate and come on short notice and gave a smaller time window (half-hour) of when they would arrive, which was nice (I hate companies that give an 8-hour window). They were punctual and provided an estimate that was $55 less than what Got Junk advertised. Yay! Not only that, but they removed some extra debris that I had lying around just to "tidy it up". It was above and beyond. My junk that was an eyesore was gone in no-time. My husband and I were in need of someone to do a dump run for us after we moved into our new house, the previous owners left a ton of junk behind. Stellar service, and the manager is a stand up guy all the way. We had a large hot tub that we tried our best to get it into the roll off dumpster without it sticking up too much above the top, but the laws of physics said otherwise, & it stuck up about 2 ft or more, but he was able to get the tarp over for transport. He could have charged me more, but he didn't. We had discussed it before hand, and he stuck to the original deal, which was greatly appreciated. I've used Ray with Junk Removed Now several times already. He cut down trees and a lot of huge branches in my yard and saved me a lot of money from a regular tree trimming service and did a great job. He hauled everything off and didn't leave any limbs lying around. He was courteous and personable and I enjoyed talking with him while he was here. He did such a great job with the trees I hired him to repair my fence. He dug out broken posts from concrete, dug new holes, poured concrete and set new posts and stained the posts and pickets he replaced. I will have him back to do more work for me. They go by the amount of truck your going to full up. They carried it up and we agreed on how much truck it would fill up before they started. I didn't want to carry things up from my basement, so I called them. We did about 5/8th of a truck full and it was about the same cost as a 30-yard dumpster without the tip for the guys. I could have put more into a 30 yard then they took but it was gone right away, and I didn't have to carry it. read more

Needed to get some bedroom furniture out ASAP! They were able to pick up our stuff within a few hours. :) They were quick and courteous and decent priced! When speaking with them on phone they mentioned that they take furniture to be donated and work with families in need so I was happy to know it was going to be reused again.
