I would not recommend using Groundworks in Belmont, North Carolina, for foundation or concrete…read morerepair services. After receiving a quote, taking pictures for 2 hours and paying our deposit, we waited 3 1/2 weeks for our scheduled concrete lifting repair. During the initial consultation, we were assured the repair would not be a problem. However, when the two technicians arrived, they spent about 15 minutes assessing the situation before leaving, stating they could not complete the job. What was even more frustrating was the lack of communication afterward. We spent the next 12 hours trying to reach someone at the local branch to discuss the issue and find a resolution for this much-needed repair. Despite repeatedly requesting a phone call, no one ever contacted us. Instead, all communication was handled through text messages. We were eventually informed that a waiver would be required, something that was never discussed during the consultation. At that point, we requested a full refund of our deposit. In all my years, I have never experienced such poor communication and customer service from a company. Based on our experience, I would encourage others to proceed with caution when considering Groundworks in Belmont, NC.

His ability to keep everyone aligned and ensure smooth execution made a noticeable difference in the project's success. Mason demonstrated exceptional leadership throughout, communicating along the way regarding updates and issues found. Mason not only coordinated the crew with precision, ensuring tasks were completed efficiently and with a sense of urgency, but also guided the team through significant challenges posed by hard, rocky soil. Their proactive problem-solving and adaptability kept the project moving forward without delays. Mason's commitment to delivering top-quality work was evident in every detail, and their focus on excellence ensured our expectations were exceeded. Overall, Mason's efforts, along with "Q" showing up to give this project a shot of energy, had a direct impact on getting us across the finish line, maintaining high standards, and creating a positive experience for us, making them invaluable contributors to this project's success. After I noticed some settlement issues, I called a few companies in the area to get quotes on repairs. AW&FR offered me a very reasonable price, didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need, and I felt no pressure to sign anything. This was not the case with every company, and AW&FR felt they could achieve the same results with half the cost. The contract was very simple to understand and Ed set very clear expectations on scope of work, date of work, and time to complete, and felt confident this would address the settlement issues. Mike, Ed, and the team came by yesterday and installed 6 helical piers on my property while having to work around some complications with underground utilities. They were able to lift the house a few inches and I can already notice the improvement in my floors. I have attached a previous crack repair on my brick veneer. After the house lift, the crack sealed itself. They left the work site with the expectations I had and that were in the contract, which was disturbed, level grade soil. The final price was what was agreed to, and there were no surprises. If you need work done on your foundation and want it done by normal, hardworking people at a reasonable cost, I would highly consider contacting AW&FR.

Discussed pricing fairly and worked with me where needed. Super personality, happy, smiling and kind, which is rare these days. Pick up job was done expeditiously and without complaint or hang ups (I was on the third floor with no elevator).
