Our kids were treated with love and care and learned so much during their time at HCA. Bonus points for the three meals prepared each day plus snacks; few school closures that matched our work schedule for the most part; 7pm close time to accommodate working parents; video camera accessible all day; and a user friendly and informative app with pictures of our kids. The class is so fun and the songs so catchy. Each semester includes a new CD with songs from class and we listen to them at home all the time. I REALLY appreciate that they aren't your typical cliche kid songs, they are cool enough that I find myself humming them all the time. It has been wonderful to watch him gain love and appreciation for music and instruments. He went through a drumming phase and requested a guitar for his 3rd birthday. Obviously this school is not perfect, and no school can or will be, but Stevens is constantly adapting and listenning as a community, that's what matters to our family. My son learns about transparency and about growth within the school. He is a happy kid, learning in a safe environment. I have to say, as a family, in the Stevens community, we are all happy here.

At just over a year old, I was extremely hesitant to uproot my child and start fresh somewhere new... but something in my gut told me that AWNWA was the right move for our family and looking back, I couldn't have made a better decision. It's been almost a year since we joined, and I wanted to take moment to share our experience with anyone who may be on the market for a daycare. The staff and teachers at AWNWA make it a truly loving and warm environment, which is why I know that it feels like home for my daughter when she is there. Some things I love about AWNWA are: 1) they post TONS of pics throughout the day to the parent app 2) they do so many fun/educational crafts and activities throughout the day - things I never would think to do at home. 3) They have a small/private outdoor area and use that regularly during the warm months (plus waterplay once a week in summer) 4) they have social events for all families every few months which are a blast and have really helped families to form relationships with one another 5) They value parent input and even have a parent committee to assist with events, policies, etc. 6) It's family owned. The director, Mr. B (and his wife Karan) opened AWNWA when their son was a child over 20 years ago. The center is truly their world and it shows. My daughter has learned SO much since joining AWNWA it blows me away. I feel like every day she is saying or doing something that I didn't know she could do. I personally know of at least 3-4 families who switched from other daycares to awnwa which I feel speaks volumes about awnwa. I can't recommend AWNWA enough.
