Nice tofu foodtruck (with locally produced organic tofu) parked by the minster every weekday (I…read morethink). About six tofu dishes on the menu, for 2.50 - 3.50 euros (October 2016). Still I was very surprised when what I thought would be a grilled tofu burger with a reasonable amount of veggie topping turned out to be basically a hot dog with fried onions in a bun. Perhaps it's the German style of foodtruck serving, I'm used to rather more effort from our Swedish foodtrucks. Although for that low price I guess I was overly optimistic. That said it was actually a rather tasty snack (because obviously it was far from a proper filling lunch) - the bread was fresh and nice, the tofu sausage good and the fried onion topping too. I really appreciate the fact that the tofu is organic and locally produced at the Taifun factory, but I think they would win by serving some larger dishes with lots of veggies for a proper, satisfying plantbased meal.

Im Gemüseabteil ist fast alles regional und es gibt viele kleine Kooperativen die den Laden direkt beliefern. Ich achte auf Fair gehandelte Produkte und bekomme hier unter anderem die besten Cashews und Schokolade die in Ghana hergestellt ist. Da bleiben statt 2000 Euro für die Tonne Kakao 10.000 Euro fürs fertige Produkt im Land! Außerdem ist das Team frisch und witzig und immer für einen Scherz zu haben.
