Tom Wilson inspected a condo for us this past week. When we first met him he was very friendly, but…read moreas the inspection continued he started to refuse to discuss any issues we saw. There was an issue in one of the bedrooms where there was evidence of water damage, but he refused to talk about it and barely put it in the report. The deck also was not level (and we were unable to look underneath to see if there was any damage). He did not include it in his report and when we asked him to put in the record he wrote in bold that there was no structural integrity issues with the deck. I understand that he is experienced, but in order for us to proceed and have accurate records it would have been nice if he would have just included it (especially because we discussed it with him on site). He did not go over the report with us and left quite rapidly. I would not have him inspect a home again as I feel like he did not want any of his observations questioned and did not want us to point out any issues that we saw.

We used Darrin Wright per our realtor to inspect a home we were buying. About a month after closing…read morewe noticed two outside faucets leaking. We called a plumber to fix, who also noticed the expansion tank on water heater not correct size. I contacted Darrin immediately who said he'd take care of it, meaning he'd contact us after we sent the repair receipt. Not a word from him after multiple emails, etc. And yesterday we discovered that the jets don't work in the master bathtub. There is a 90-day warranty through some 800 number, but it took me four attempts to get a human on the line. So we shall see if we ever get reimbursed for problems he didn't notice. Would not recommend.
