I needed a link taken out of my husbands watch and his bracelet fixed. I called and they told me the amount and that I could come in the next day. So the next day I came in and I reminded them of who I was and they serviced me right away and even gave me a discount. My husband's watch came out very nice and they handled it with care as well as the repairs to the bracelet. They are very nice. I will visit again when I need more repairs. read more

After purchasing jewelry from Julio's jewelry store I was very disappointed that in a few days the product started fading We actually take it back to the store and the gentleman that was taken care of us said that the bracelet was scratched and not faded and did not work with us. I do not recommend this place the value and the service not good read more

I am grateful for all that Julio's Jewelry has done to help me with my wedding band repair. They are professional, respond quickly, and are all over wonderful people to work alongside. They always provide excellent customer service, and their prices are very affordable. I've been bringing my jewelry here for over 4+ years now, and I don't trust anyone else, they never disappoint. They have two locations, so picking up and dropping off is quite convenient for me. I would strongly advise coming in to have your jewelry fixed or just to look at what they have in stock. They are a reputable company with a stellar reputation. read more

My father inlaw bought a necklace on Christmas Eve, when he brought it home we noticed a stone was missing. He took it back after Christmas and they charged him $75 to add the stone even though the necklace came like that. My father inlaw is 75, they totally took advantage because he's a senior. read more

DEFINITELY do not recommend this jewelry store!! Recently purchased a chain on 05/30. I understand the warranty is good for 30 days. And today (07-01) I went into the store to get the chain repaired (the clasp fell off). As soon as we walk in we show the women working the chain and our receipt and she immediately says "it's been 30 days" no hello or any type of proper customer service. There's no reason someone needs to respond so rudely. She does not give us any alternative option so I ask how much will it be to fix and she claims "$30". Absolutely ridiculous the customer service is HORRIBLE! We did not walk into the store asking for it to be fixed for free, we were simply asking for a repair. We decided to leave and took the chain to a small Jewlery place in front of "Julio's jewlery" and the older man took the chain and fixed it in two minutes for FREE! DO NOT give any business to this company, try the small jewler in front of them instead ! read more

Customer service is terrible. Got a necklace "fixed" from them last week put it on this weekend and it broke by just putting it on. No refund but at least they can re fix it but no total waste of money. read more

If I can give negative stars I would. I first wanna say that I've came here before the service was fast and at a good price for the work they did. The trip yesterday was a complete 180 . When I received my medallion back I had new folds on the back, completely unprofessional work when I mentioned it I was told to take it somewhere else. AFTER I had paid. The level of professionalism I got from the old man in the back will make sure I forever warn everyone I once recommended to stay away. He spoke to me like I wasn't a paying customer and the half wit that speaks English said, " I can't speak for him" and he "apologized" on his behalf. Not only should I have demanded half of my money back but in a different setting he probably would be missing the rest of his teeth. Stay away from this place unless you want below mediocre work and a terrible attitude to boot. read more

Julios Jewelry - This was smooth when I gave it to be repaired, this isn't normal like he said it was - Jewelry Near Me - North Riverside, Illinois

This store sells fake jewelry and the repair quality is substandard. Will not recommend them to anybody. The location in Chicago ridge is even worse. read more

I've been coming here for a few years now and I've had no issues until I took my ring to the pawn shop I brought it from and they asked did I recently have work done to the ring. I remember getting it sized here at Julio's and cleaned they told me the stones were testing as cubic now and the ring weight was less... I also brought my chain here a few times due to it being broke I have not checked my chain yet but I will be doing so tmrw because if this place steals jewelry and replace with similar they need to be closed down and sued... people work to hard for there money and good things just to get them stolen is ridiculous. read more

I took my wife's ring to be sized and when I picked it up and gave it to my wife for mother's day it had 4 stones missing, she didn't wear it because it was to small and when I went back to the julio's repair shop he denied that he lost them while sizing it and blamed my wife for the missing stones(yellow diamonds)she didn't wear the ring Conclusion:if you want to get ripped off go to julio's repair shop in the north riverside mall next to zales - read more

Julios Jewelry - NOT TRICOLOR NOW CHANGED COLORS - Jewelry Near Me - North Riverside, Illinois

My family were loyal customers of this business and that meant nothing when they sold us a bracelet that broke after one use. The clasp was faulty and they would only offer to charge $20 to repair a bracelet they sold us for $30 and they have no shame. They blamed me as the customer for breaking it. I have no need to lie over $30. The bracelet was a gift. I did not expect to be treated that way. But they truly did not care as was evident by the man that kept his head down working, as if customer complaints are a normal occurrence there. Stay away. There are many other jewelers nearby that will stand behind their products and service read more

This maybe the shortest review I ever wrote on Yelp! Lbs :) During the holidays I chipped the mount on my engagement ring (that I still wear on my right hand in spite wearing my wedding ring & band on the left). My husband called the place where he got the ring and long story short while I was in the North Riverside area I stopped at Julio's. $20.00 to fix the mount in 40 minutes. I decided to pick the ring up the next day and it was just as beautiful as the day I received it. They did an excellent job at cleaning the ring. I highly recommend them! read more

This place is super overpriced for jewelry repair. I had a simple welding job on a pair of glasses and I was overcharged. I've been here many times and every time the prices are more expensive. I do not recommend this place for anything. read more

I took my brand new watch to Julio's to have a link removed. Everything seemed to go smoothly, but I noticed when I got home that the wrong link was taken out. The pattern was uneven on one side, so I figured I would just have the link switched out next time I was at the mall. What I experienced today at Julio's was a total nightmare. The repairmen in the shop spent 25 minutes switching the links, and handed me back a watch with scratches and nicks ALL OVER IT. I called the repairman back over to show him the damage. He refused to admit any wrongdoing, insisting that the scratches were already present. To add insult to injury, when I went to put on my watch at home THE ENTIRE LINK FELL OFF! I took my now broken watch to Harrison Jewelers on Roosevelt this afternoon and had it back good as new in 10 minutes. Save yourself the time and hassle, and avoid Julio's at all costs. read more

No complaints from Julio's @ No. Riverside Park Mall. He fixed a ring with a cracked prong, resized a ring for me, and recently added a large lobster claw clasp on a heavy chain for $12.00. He also gives you top dollar on gold compared to the "pop up" stores. Going to Julio's is like going to a small town jeweler in Mexico. He also has quite a selection on beautiful silver jewelry. Julio's is located on the upper level @ No. Riverside Mall next to Carson's. read more

I took my engagment ring there to be sized down a half size. 10 days later while i was taking my ring off to do the dishes, the point where they sized it poped open. Now I have a ring that is broken in the middle of the shank!! I am heart broken and will not return to this hack of a jeweler nor refer anybody there!! read more

They are thieves they switch my chain and stones on my ring do not take your gold and diamonds here's unbelievable I did not notice til later that night -he said let me put your chain on you I did not look at chain or rings til late that night when I got home took my $5000 chain and switched for similar looking lightweight and switch diamonds for cubic z wow getting screwed by Latinos being Latinos trying to support small business and they the biggest crooks Karma will get them take pictures of your jewelry and stones makes sure you have proof of what you took in I will never go there again read more

I have taken all my watches to change batteries. By far they are the most econimical and fast. I have changed the baterries to my movados for $15. Other places give the run around that they have to send it out to pressure seal it. But all it has, is a gasket. I have been going to them for 9 years. read more

I took my gold chains in to have them repaired and they switched out my chains for cheaper chains I know my jewelry I have had them for 20 years they are a ripoff I called the police and filed a report on the spot they have sentimental value to me there is no price on them I want my jewelry back my rating for them is 0 but they insist on a rating. before you take anything in there please take a good picture on the spot they should be shut down read more

The worst experience ever I took a watch in because the glass on my Armani Exchange watch was broken. They had to order glass so they told me to come back in 2 weeks. I come to pick up the watch and the glass is uneven/ not level. One end sticks up and the other side goes in. I ask if they can repair it and make it even they tell me there is nothing else they can do so I was forced to call north riverside police to make a police report so I can take it to court. I also reported it to the north riverside mall president and board or directors for mall. And sent a copy of the police report to the better business bureau. I will never go there again and will make sure to tell everyone I know about my bad experience. Horrible read more

If I could give less than one star as a review I would! Julio scammed me!! I brought in a watch that needed to have the battery replaced. He charged me $10 and then 3 days later the battery died! Don't waste your time or money going here, total scam stay away!!! read more

I recently took 2 watches to Julio's; one to have a battery replaced and the other to add a lobster claw link. The watch with the lobster claw link was completed with no problem, but the replacement of the watch battery for the other watch brought about much drama. The younger repair person presented me with the other watch and said 'no charge for it', but it had no new battery, nor its' watch stem. In his attempt to set the watch after placing a new battery in it, he broke the watch stem. He then had the nerve to tell me it would cost me $30 to repair it because it was broke when I brought it in.. We naturally got into a debate about whose responsible for the damage to the watch. It was not broken when I brought it in, he had, he broke it, he should repair it!!! HE FLAT OUT REFUSED! Then he did the unspeakable; the watch which was repaired correctly, he attempted to snatch the new link off until I snatched it away from him. I used to feel comfortable taking my jewelry to Julio's, but after reading a couple of these reviews, it's obvious that the owners will not take responsibility for anything they damage. YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN! read more
