The owner of this 20-seater sushi restaurant is a one-woman show. After learning her skills in Japan she opened this small restaurant to share her love for Japanese cuisine with her adopted city.
Holding court in the central open kitchen she prepares every little dish before your eyes with careful, elegant movements, creating plates that are as gorgeous on the eyes as they are delicious to the palate. To do so, she takes a considerable amount of time, so patience is seriously required. To give you an example, we got to the restaurant at 10pm and left at 1:30am. Yep, you read me right!
But during those three and a half hours I ate some of the best Japanese food I've had in France, including delicate gyozas and a beautiful Chirashi plate of super fresh goodness.
The prices are pretty high, and with the extra wine that we "had" to order to go with our wait, it came to around 50€ a person..but the experience was definitely worth it!
