A little bit drive from Monument but 100% worth the drive. It is located in a small strip mall. All local kine foods. As the restaurant seemed busy with a lot locols now about this place. Little seemed to enjoy the Mac salad h even ate all mine. I ordered the shiracha chicken and he had musibi and chicken katsu. All the food was delicious and brought us back to the island. The owners even came by to talk story with us. We will for sure be making this a go to stop next time we are in the area. Much aloha!

This review is NOT based on service at all, the staff was very very friendly and the place had good vibes. There was also a lot of seating. The food is pretty bad. The lechoń had potential but ZERO flavor, not even salt. It was also pretty dry, that had the best flavor though. The lumpia was terrible, the filling was just off and probably not the freshest... The spam was also just strange, way too much rice that was just gloopy and lacked flavor too. I would not return here unfortunately. Good vibes and menu but execution is not there at all...

A small unassuming business that has very good poke bowls. I will be back. I thought they were a little expensive, but definitely good quality and a decent amount of food. It came with poke, steamed rice, and a sweet teriyaki sauce over cabbage (I think). The lady who took my order wasn't thrilled to assist or answer questions... still though... good fish.

I really wanted to like this place, especially with the high rating. But it just wasn't that good. We ordered a plate with 2 sides (lechon and pork adobo), lumpia, and a ube mochi dessert. I did appreciate how crispy the lechon was but the pork adobo was so salty that it was inedible. The lumpia is ok, overly greasy and nothing special. The only item worth coming back for was the ube mochi. Maybe the other items on their menu is better, but from this experience I don't think I'll be coming back.

Amazinggggg food. It's a mom and pop shop with THE BEST poke and Lechon I've ever had. It's my #1 go to restaurant in Colorado Springs now. I had the chance to meet Julie the owner of Julie's Kitchen and she was so nice and warm. She walked me through the menu and made some recommendations. They have a good selection of Hawaiian and Filipino food which is pretty rare to find in Colorado itself. Saw some locals dining in and everyone looked happy there. 10/10 recommend visiting this place if you're in town

Hands down, one of the BEST meals I have ever had. So delicious that I had to come out of Yelp reviewing retirement to give proper accolades immediately after consuming my meal. Just moved here from CA a week ago and am beyond stoked to have located such a good local spot that will already become one of our regulars in our takeout rotation. I have been to Hawaii several times and taking a bite of this food transported me back there. Haven't had Hawaiian food this good since I was literally in Hawaii. Love that it's a local mom & pop place with a laidback vibe and kind workers! Everything was super flavorful and sooo tasty! Even the spam musubi was top notch with the crisp seaweed, sauce and furikake. Very generous portions for the combination plates! Here's what we ordered: * Spam Musubi * Corned Beef Fried Rice * Chicken Katsu & Kalua Pork Combination Plate * Loco Moco & Korean Chicken Combination Plate * Pandan Bibingka

They just reopened today and their food was so good! Me and my wife just moved here from Hawaii and we missed the Filipino and Hawaiian food. The two workers were so friendly and the service was perfect! It felt like home in there and everyone was so nice! I just wish it was in a safer area but besides that it was perfect! 10/10 I will most definitely be coming back!

I spent 3 years in Hawaii and this is the best spot I've found in COS to get Hawaiian food! Super nice folks that own and operate the restaurant. Very good food! Lots of delicious options. My gf got the Musubi and loved it. The kiddo got the teriyaki chicken and we didn't hear a peep out of her while we were eating. Definitely go check this place out!

After an airport pickup, we stopped here due to a Yelp recommendation. As others mentioned it is not the best neighborhood, but that didn't stop the customers coming. The food is definitely worth it. There is a 1, 2 or 3 item option of several dishes if you don't want to order off the menu. Julie explained everything to us. One order of Spam Musube was huge, and we also had the pancit noodles, amazing, spareribs, pork belly and mixed vegetables. I would say very authentic, but we never had anything like this before (except for the Musube). Others around us verified the authenticity, and Julie and her husband are from Hawaii. She stopped by and chatted with us awhile. She's a sweetheart!

Stopped by since I was in the area and craving local hawaiian style food. Limited section in the hot choices mostly just filipino style food. Got hawaiian food options in the menu as well. Opted for a 1 choice with pork adobo. Just like back home style with the peppercorns. Little on the sweeter side however. Pork was good lots of meat for just 1 choice. Little fat pieces but most pork adobo uses pork belly so common Service is ok, small mom and pop. Owner was going at it with a customer for some reason but I didn't bother me. If I'm polite and treat them with respect and they do the same for me it's all good. If not I'll just walk.

We stumbled across this place by complete chance after noticing some people eating outside the restaurant and telling us how good it was. We decided to pop in and order a small kalbi plate and some drinks. The kalbi was super tasty and authentic. Made me feel like I was eating back home in Honolulu. It was so good, we decided to come back the next day for brunch and had the mixed plate with kalbi, garlic shrimp, mac salad, and white rice. Also had some drinks and a spam musubi. The owner came out and introduced herself to us as well. Just as I thought, she too was from Hawaii and told us that all of the pictures hanging up on the walls were taken by her on the west side of Oahu. Since this place is so tiny and easily missed, I would make it a point to visit this place in the future. Wonderful staff, Ono grindz, and a very happy customer :)

She told me she had already talked with her staff yesterday and agreed that the chicken was dry, and said she would fix it. I really appreciate businesses that take feedback the way she did instead of getting offended when the feedback is genuinely well-intended. Thank you so much! Raising my review back to 5 stars. :) Update #1: I feel bad having to drop a star, but I've noticed a consistent issue lately. Whenever I've ordered the BBQ chicken, it's been really dry/overcooked. I genuinely love the flavors here and the value is great, but the doneness of the chicken can make or break the dish. Please consider adjusting the cook on the chicken. When they're cooked properly and stay moist, it's an amazing meal. I really want this place to keep being one of my favorites, but this has been hard to ignore. Original review: I've been to Hafa Adai a few times now, and the food is delicious! I especially love the BBQ chicken and the dipping sauce that comes with it. My only complaint is their hours - they're a bit awkward. My husband doesn't get off work until 3, but they close at 3 on both Wednesday and Thursday. Plus, they're closed three days a week, which makes it tricky to find a good time to go.
