We needed the outside of our big house painted, and the Realtor-recommended painter took another…read morebig job and bumped us. He felt badly, so he subcontracted the job to Tim Kemper. My husband and I are really impressed with Tim Kemper's work! He was quite conscientious, hard- working, respectful of our property, and generally went above and beyond a "simple" outdoor paint job. We have tall eaves (the builder seemed fond of the mountain chalet design) and loads of irregular-shaped windows, so a challenge from the start. In heat over 100 degrees, he battled house-climbing vines and overgrown shrubs (that he trimmed back), loads of dirt dauber nests and spider webs, pounds of pine needles on the eaves (that he removed and carted away), and even a never-emptying nest of aggressive red wasps in the outdoor light soffit (he used soapy water to dispatch them rather than toxic pesticides). He removed all the external hardware so he could paint, then cleaned it all before he replaced them. The paint job itself looks terrific. And he is a nice guy to boot!

When he bid our house he was told what kind of paint we wanted. No problem. When he showed up to…read morepaint he refused to use the paint I wanted and quote mind you, "if you want your house painted I will paint it in satin but if you want semigloss paint I guess you will have to get someone else. I bought 170 gallons of satin paint base and I'm not going to buy more paint." Also I paid an enormous price to power wash my house, my whole house I assumed, he only power washed what he was going to paint. When I asked him to power wash my house and he gave me a quote assumed it was my whole house. This guy will do anything, say anything to cheat you and save a dollar to put in his pocket. Cut corners, Cheat, Lye, and do NOTHING that he bid to do. Beware of this guy. Only out to make money by being dishonest. Paid for a shitty power washing and sent both losers, owner and helper down the road.
