Homeowners: Proceed With Extreme Caution…read more Our experience with Phillip Burgess of Next Step Renovation was deeply disturbing and unacceptable. The project was abandoned before completion, leaving substantial work unfinished, damaged, and requiring correction--despite the significant amount we paid. Despite repeated attempts to contact him and resolve the situation, he has not responded. We have been left with additional expenses, incredible stress, frustration, and serious concerns about the quality of the work and licensing. We also discovered verified information about his past that raised serious concerns about his character and trustworthiness. If you are considering hiring him, do your research first. Verify licensing, get everything in writing, document payments and work, check references, and research his background. Based on our experience, we strongly caution other homeowners: think twice, do your homework, and be absolutely certain before entrusting this individual with your home or your money.

They were there 12 hours that day. There's no way they didn't see it. They had to come back and fix it the next day. They removed the gutter screens and left several of them thrown on the ground at the back of the house. I'm still finding roofing nails in my yard, and on my driveway. After they finished our Direct TV wasn't working and we couldn't fix it from the trouble shooting menu. We thought maybe it just needed to be recalibrated. Direct TV sent a service rep. Come to find out when they moved the satellite dish to do that part of the roof they bent it. Instead of saying anything they just put it back where it was .
