The community itself is nice and isolated from the main road which meant the nights were very quiet and made sleeping very easy. The only possibly negative thing I'd like to point out is that the streets are not all that well lit, though that goes for most of Seaside due to wildlife, so you definitely need your own light when moving about at night. In a car or golf cart, that's not an issue, but if you'd like to bike the way I did one night, you'd better bring a light. Still, I highly recommend renting a house here for a week if you want easy access to the beach and everything that Seaside has to offer.

This was the worst property I have ever encountered. Our experience with Benchmark Management at Sand Cliff Condos (Unit 214) was unacceptable. Upon arrival, the smell of mold was so overpowering that we could not remain in the room. We discovered visible black mold on the furniture and inside all the vents. Further inspection revealed a kitchen in poor condition, including filthy cookware. The unit was extremely dated and bore no resemblance to the quality or cleanliness advertised in the listing. It is clear these issues were known, yet the unit was still permitted to be booked. Because of these severe hygiene and health concerns, we left immediately to find alternative accommodations. The experience was incredibly stressful and entirely avoidable. Please look elsewhere and do not book here.

I looked on the website and found a property that my wife and I were interested in. Thought it was a unusual procedure to do a self certify to view the property unescorted, we chose not to use this method as the website was asking us to click on a link and upload our driver license. With all the scams going on now, we were wary to use that system. We did due diligence and found their office after much ado as it is hard to find. It was closed, during routine business hours. I called the number on the door and it was answered by the owner of the company, and she was very pleasant. She told us that she didn't personally handle the residential end of the business but her office manager did and she would have her call us. We did get a call within 30 minutes or so from the office manager. She proceeded to do a preliminary interview with us on the phone and asked about if we had a dog. ( it is a pet friendly property we were looking at ) We said yes, we had a English Mastiff. Her immediate response was " you're kidding! " I said no, not kidding, she is a puppy. The manager said " do you know how big that thing will get!" I said yes as we had recently had to put down our Mastiff mix after 13 years and it broke our hearts. She said she would have to talk to the owner and see if they would agree to such a dog and she also advised us on what all we would need to do insurance wise to protect them and the owner. I assured her we were very insurance heavy. She said she would get back with us, haven't heard since. That has been our experience, not a great one, at lease do what you say. We probably will not do business with them.

we picked this condo for it's easy beach access, unfortunately when we used the private beach…read moreaccess we were met by the security guards for Sugar Dunes, and the neighboring private beach who informed us we could not use the public access to spend the day at the beach. It was also not ok to use the Sugar Dunes beach as they have revoked their policy to allow our condo of their beach. The policy for Beachside Villas still showed we could use their beach. We could also not leave our shoes and towels in the public beach area as it is a hazard. The condo was not clean enough or kept up enough for the amount you pay for it, especially not having the beach access as close as it is advertised. I would not stay here again. There are places along 30-a that are a little cheaper, appear much nicer, and own private beaches. the condo we stayed in had a horrible floor plan. we had 6 people in our party and we could not all be in the same room at the same time. We all felt banished to our rooms when we were all together. There are much better rentals out there and Transparency about the beaches would have been nice.
