They managed to get my son's carne asada taco wrong, my wife ordered the floutas/taquitos (whatever they have) and for the first time in my life I saw her not finish them. My tacos weren't worth the money and I went in with LOW expectations. I'm bumping this up 1 star b/c they are probably good for Grand Rapids Mexican Food. FOR ALL OUT OF STATE CUSTOMERS - especially those from Texas/Colorado/New Mex/Arizona/California and the West Coast... don't get Mexican food in the Mid West, just wait till you get home.

Upon getting a booth they quickly took our order, brought us our drinks and shortly after our food. They do not offer complimentary chips and salsa like most of the restaurants in the area. The price is also a lot higher than those that do charge for it. With your taco order you get a plate of limes, pickled onions, grilled onions and grilled peppers. I ordered asada tacos and they were full of meat with cilantro and onion. They also offer dinner plates with rice and beans. The rice and beans are nothing special and could have gone without ordering them. The hot sauce options they bring out are great. We love the green but the red is just as good. They have a nice kick! Then today I called and explained what happened and that I was willing to give them a second chance and the lady told me it would be ready in 10 minutes without apologizing to me. Then I get there 20 minutes later and my they didnt even have a receipt for my order and hadnt started on it. Still charged me full price and refused to apologize and when I pointed that out the staff literally pretended like I wasnt there or speaking and then a few minutes later they handed me my food and I once again pointed out no one apologized but you guessed it was ignored again. Im very vocal about supporting local businesses in social media and believe me all of west michigan will be hearing about all this disrespect. Wonder if theyd pass a health inspection? I gave them multiple chances and never raised my voice or anything. The empty tip jar makes way more sense. A good business would've made it right initially not hung up and ignored me and continued to treat me horrible. I loved the queso as it was smooth and creamy, and the guac was chunky which most people at our table enjoyed. The lettuce makes it a bit tough to eat, but it was so delicious. I had plenty of leftovers, too. The steak was flavorful and tender.
