They have an excellent selection of healthy and not-so-healthy foods and drinks, including a good stock of fairly traded items (such as Traidcraft cereal, loo roll, etc.). The staff are always friendly and very helpful - although I've never had to ask anything they have an extensive stock of herbal remedies and seem to cater for any ailment you might have. The staff are very knowledgeable and can advise on what might be the best remedy. The prices are reasonable; it's a real treasure trove of healthy goodies.

It's nice and clean, the staff are pleasant and friendly, and the Quorn is fantastic! Speaking (or typing) as a vegetarian, I am really pleased that Quorn is produced in my region. I love the Quorn pies, and enjoy a number of other items they produce, too. The great thing about Quorn is that even meat eaters enjoy it! My husband is a meat eater but he actually prefers the Quorn bacon to the other kind (you know, the dead pig kind).

Holland & Barrett often have some great deals in their 'Penny Sale' or 'Buy One Get One Half Price…read moreon Everything' deals. This is quite a small shop so they don't have any fresh food (no fridge or freezer section) but you can still buy a few good "free from" items such as soya milk and vegetarian jelly. I think they're missing out on lots of potential customers as there isn't another health food shop in Redcar. Their staff are always friendly and happy to help so it's always a pleasure to shop there. Everything else I said in my previous review is still accurate - they still sell a good range of dried fruit, snacks, alternative medicines and vitamins, and now that they have a points/loyalty card it means I'm even more likely to shop there.
