I saw Nancy Baratta for the past few years (nurse practitioner) and had concerns about the way I was treated, but stayed because of convenience and I felt we would get to a place where I was comfortable with her. Over the past couple of years I voiced concerns about my health and the way I was feeling which were brushed to the side with the response that I should become vegan and not work so much. I finally went in and demanded a referral, which was met with arguments, especially when I told her I had researched and had a name of who I wanted to see, but was finally granted my request. I took care of the health issues with the help of a specialist and was scheduled for a yearly with Nancy again. I actually thought it would be positive but instead was met with negativity, disregard for what we had accomplished and how much better I was feeling, and was again told that it came down to "what I put in my mouth" and "couldn't we find me a job where I'd work less hours and make more money". (I'm a small business owner with a pet care business and I make plenty of money). I was chastised and it was very condescending. I left furious and finally called the manager the next day. I did receive a follow up call, however I have many concerns, including a test result mixup, afterwards that have still not been addressed, and I'm not able to reach the doctor to voice my concerns. I would not recommend this office, and I have tried again (today) to reach the doctor but was told I could not have access either by phone or email. Thankfully I took it upon myself to find someone who helped me and a new primary who is willing to find the answers that I need to feel better, even if she herself doesn't have them. I'm writing this only after trying to reach the Dr of this office multiple times, and in the hopes that the next person she disregards will have the ability to find answers for her/himself. Nancy Baratta and the staff at this office are not concerned about their patients' welfare. (I understand the medical field is under a lot of stress...but I put my trust in someone who wasn't listening and allows her ego to dictate how she treats her patients. That is very unnerving and leaves me concerned for the next person who walks in feeling the way I did). read more
