They used to be mobbed and they still deserve to be. Reason 1: they have everything. Really. Tons of music in every genre. Reason 2: they know about everything. I can always ask for recommendations. Reason 3: they let you listen to everything. Really. I usually pick half a dozen CDs out of the bins, listen to them, and then go home with 2 or 3 that I'm perfectly happy with. No buying based on a review and then coming home and hating the music.

I thought the store was really well organized between new and used as well as genres. Everything was easy to navigate and I enjoyed taking my time to look for something that I might not be able to find in my own local record store. They have music DVDs that I've never seen before so that was fun to look through and so many vinyl records. Really you could spend hours here looking around, but I didn't have the time. If I can, I'll get back there most definitely. The prices were really reasonable too, which makes shopping there even better because you're getting a good deal too.

This particular shop is pretty big for a retail space in Europe and delightfully had a bench where I could park myself while he browsed. It is clean, well-organized and has lots of available record players for listening to albums. The staff was helpful and friendly. My only complaint was that the music in the store was SUPER loud and made it hard to talk. Shout out to Nigel, who was super friendly and helpful.
